Hi, I was wondering when doing mental magick, are you supposed to feel this "funny feeling" in your forehead? its not a pain, or anything, it just feels as if its a light fuzzy feeling or something. I have done this before but i don't remember if i have felt this. I also feel this when im tunning in to my psychic "mode" like for example, i watch america's psychic challenge and i play along with them and choose the correct item they present. any ideas?

P.s. - does any one have any references or websites where i can read more about mental magick?

I'm not sure but I think you opened your third eye... This is just from what I've heard.

It could be your third eye but I think it's normal to get a buzzing. I do. Whenever I meditate or cast spells, I feel a massive tingling all through my body. It's different for everyone. For me it's a good sign, it's a sign that you're raising energy!

That tingling is called "opening your third eye". People mostly new-agers often make a big deal about it. Personally, for me it's just a side effect of doing any energy work, and I've never understood the big deal about it.

One does use the 6th chakra (center of forehead) for energy work on a regular basis. On the other hand, people also use the third chakra and the heart chakra as well, depending on what they are doing. Also, tingling in the hands can also happen, too... but that's just your mini-hand chakras talking. They don't have specific attributions the way the others do. Often people feel that one is dominant, ie. for or sending out energy, and the other does "passive" energy work, such as sensing and absorbing energy from the outside. I have found that either and both work for each use, but one is more sensitive to sensing than the other.
