Okay, here's my question:

Is there a way to help someone more understand, and patient?

I suffer from a Disease, it's not going to go away. But I need support and understanding from those I am around.

- sorrow is patient and understanding but could always use a helping hand

My mother had type 1 diabetes. I couldn't see what was right in front of me because it didn't "touch" me. She wanted to protect us kids i suppose & not be a burden. She didn't communicate it. How could we understand? Only in adult years have I come to "see" after the fact that she was in pain & was too dragged out & tired to be involved.

Now in my mid-60's I have neuropathy. Ordinary physical actions are very painful & take more effort & time to do. Other people ("normies") cannot see the pain, only my frustrating clumsiness. I have to understand their busy-day preoccupations. I dont bother someone with my issues (in which they aren't interested anyhow); i do have to communicate my need verbally & in simple terms such as saying "this is beyond me at the moment - can you spare the time to help?" If I'm flighty it helps to say "that's the pills talking" & if I'm cranky "that's the pain talking."

So what I'm saying is that communicating a problem in simple terms (more than once) can help people to become aware. They can choose to be patient or drop heavy sighs.

Spell-wise - the no-frills candle & honey-jar come to mind. And may good luck be yours.

Like Spirit pointed out those who do not have the disease really don't understand. They just don't, and they never will. And trying to make them hear or feel your pain really just makes one angry and frustrated...you and them.
You can be good to yourself though, and when stuff gets too much remind yourself that you can only do so much, and that's ok. If someone wants to angry at you for not doing this or that. Tell them, "I'm sorry you feel that way, I just don't have the energy" and leave it at that.
I'm wondering if a glamor spell might work in the sense they will see you differently, and maybe less confrontive? Just a thought to add to the simple spell menu, which is here:

I cant always communicate, most of the time, i cant even speak. Im working on flash cards, to try and help others understand.
