1. Some tips for self directed study -
. Use traditional texts as guidelines for practice - the Charge of the Goddess, Wiccan Reed
. Holidays represent nature’s cycles - 🎃all-hallows, 🕯Candlemas, 🌻May Eve & 🍞Loafmas & 🌕full moon
. The Goddess & God represent Nature’s duality
. The ritual circle, ritual tools & altar are optional but do define a Wiccan-specific practice
. Wicca for Beginners by Thea Sabin ($12) & Wicca Book of Spells by Lisa Chamberlain ($6)

2. Make a suitable worship/work-space within your means. There’s no rule that gear must come from specialty shoppes or copy ceremonial magicians. Dollar stores 🙂 are go-to resources.
. Start-up gear: incense🥢, 🕯candles, 🥛cup; oil⚱️, 🧂salt. 🪨palm-stone, 🪴herbs
. Easy circle - start & end @north; spritz mixed 🧂+💦 ↪️, light🥢, point & push 👉🏼 to cast↩️

3. Practice skills - 10 min daily.
. Ground yourself by thinking of energy moving down the spine from crown to heel & into the earth.
. Focus: Gaze at a candle flame 🕯👀 & don’t let the mind wander.
. Make psi-balls between your hands🙏🏼; think it & pull power to the solar plexus, push from the belly & out hands👏🏽. Move hands back & forth to feel a subtle pushback.

4. About Spells:
. Know your intent - to attract, to repel or to empower something.
. Select materials related to the goal by element, suggestive scent or appearance.
. If something is a relevant symbol to you then use it.
. Use positive, present-tense phrasing to say the results you want & don't say what you don't want.
