New Years Day (Jan 1st) will be a Full Moon and a Super Moon.

A supermoon is a full moon or a new moon that approximately coincides with the closest distance that the Moon reaches to Earth in its elliptic orbit, resulting in a larger-than-usual apparent size of the lunar disk as seen from Earth.

A magically potent symbol of contemplation becoming intention - setting aside the past, cutting the ties that bind, renewal and forging new starts - New Years Resolutions standing a greater chance of being realised?

Yeah! This perihelion makes for a gorgeous moon on the horizon. When it goes down in the west in the very early a.m. it should look like you could just reach out and touch it, which feels like sending energy with her to be a real good time to set intentions.

Going to insert this into our regular ritual, hoping many people will join...spread the word! :D
Blessings in the new year to you.

Sounds a very productive use of those tides of energy.

My fiancée And I did this ritual together and as I cast my circle and opened the doorway to walk into it, our cat who follows us everywhere and clings to our ankles, came around after the circle was cast but she did not enter the circle. It was incredible to see that she had sensed that the circle was closed to the outside unless let in. So weird that she understood not to cross into it.
