Everything Under the Moon

I have had some strage experiances with dreams of people whom have passed on.

If I dream of my grandmother, I usually have some sort of spiritual experiance within days after. Hearing a song that she would sing that is not a usual song, etc.

So last night I dreamt of my Mother In-Law who passed away 1.5 years ago. It was weird, where she was at the family cottage but she was very wet and cold (but clothed).

When I woke up I took a shower and when I went for my towel it was not there (it was in the laundry), but I immediately thought of the dream and her being wet and cold as I was.

Maybe it is a huge stretch, but do you think she could have been trying to remind me that I took my towel out of the bathroom. That is somethign she would have done?

Maybe I am just weird??? LOL

Anyhow it was nice to see her anyway.

It's quite possible. I have heard so many different stories of spirits hanging around a little and just doing little things that they normally would have done in life.

At a friends house she has a house spirit. It's an old woman who roams the hallways checking in on everyone at night, just like a grandmother making sure her grandkids were safe in bed.

It's comforting to have these spirits around.

Thanks Wolf Heart. I think it was her, and I think she's been hanging around a bit lately. Last night my daughters toys kept going off by themself and the front door opened on it's own.

There's been some pretty crazy stuff going on in our lives so she's probably making sure we're okay.

FYI, dreams are a very common way for loved ones who have passed away to contact us. After all, we can accept seeing a dead relative in a dream, and are less likely to filter it out of our consciousness. Unlike, say, seeing them standing transparently in the hallway, waving to get our attention.

i agree jcrowfoot. spirits of the dead usually manifest in the dreams to remind us, say hello or warn us from unprecedented events that might occur. better that way...

you'll know if it is really a dream or spirit manifestation if you feel strange when you wake up such as in your case, you feel the same thing as your in-laws. just listen and take note of what they are saying and relate it later to your activities and you'll know why

real dream about dead relatives on the other hand only signifies our desire to be with them at least in dream as for its meaning, it will depend upon whether we dream of them as if they were still alive or we knew from the very start (in the dream of course) that they are already dead! if it is a ghost in your dream, there will be a new business opportunity for you or your love one (your husband?)
