Stuck inside my dreams!

So lately I have been having so real issues waking up.
My alarm can go off forever, and though I dream I am waking up and turn it off and going about my day. I suddenly realize that I am still dreaming and I wake up and do it all over again. I can end up in this cycle over and over about a dozen times.

I was wondering if any one else had this problem?

I don't think it's sleep paralysis per say but could it be similar too it?

I wasn't sure if it was related to my energy, perhaps I am in need of a cleansing?

I find that the dreams tend to be disturbing. Warped reality, me cheating on my partner, people I love dying, or people that I loved that have died coming to me in my dreams and being in lots of pain or suffering.

Any advice on what some of you might have done with similar instances to help me move over this hump in my sleep is much appreciated.

I'd take a look at WebMD for sleep specialists. I have a couple friends who have a fairly common condition, sleep apnea, and have described occasional experiences of multiple wake ups. Not saying that's what you're experiencing, but your story reminded me of them.

I have had that happen a few times. It seems to happen when I'm overly tired and stressed.

I used to do that what I was in my teens. I would dream, hear my alarm go off, actually turn off my alarm in my sleep and go back to my original dream. I would not wake up once during any of this. I was very stressed at the time and would stay up late and try and get up for school. I actually had to teach myself how to wake myself up fully when my alarm went off. I would take look at the number of hours you're trying to sleep, this could be a way for your mind to say you need more rest.
