Dreaming Of Finding a Lost Cat

My cat, Bubbas, had a brother. His name was Johnny Depp but because nobody liked how the girl who first had named him, they just called him Brother. One day, he disappeared and nobody knows where he went or if he'll ever come back.

This is what I've been told. My dream was a number of different things, but something stood out. Brother. He came back. I'm going to say this before anything else, I don't think about Brother; I never got to meet him, and I probably never will because I moved to another state, twice, and he doesn't even know me. He could be dead for all I know, though I hope that isn't the case. He walked through the cat door and went up to me, but I couldn't pet him. He kind of just stared at me, I stared back. In a while, he moved away and looked scared. I don't know why, it might have been because I got too close. He was a bit like my cat. A bit fluffier, the same type of cat, a bit bigger (But that may have just been an illusion with the fluff), the same breed (Mackerel Tabby), green eyes just like Bubbas...Does this mean anything? I would have just figured it's because I missed him or think about him often if I had known him and thought about him, but I just don't. I don't even know what he looks like.

Anyway, If anyone has any ideas, please tell me. Cheers

My missing cats have usually contacted me in a dream to say they're all right. To them, all right doesn't always mean still alive. It means there sweet spirit was able to find you for a visit or a good bye. Mouse and Sam have both cone back to me in time of need. When I was stressed and just needed to hug and pet them again. The other clowder members who have passed, will return when one of their companions will be passing. They stay with that cat during the transition time. So do some of the cats who aren't passing, but have been good friends to the one who's ill. After a cat has passed, it will usually come back one more time to say a goodbye. They never end. They just move on.
