Hello,

My name is Josh, a 30 year old from Pennsylvania. As my topic said, I am extremely 100% new to Wicca. My Girlfriend of almost 5 years now suggested Wicca for me because she has some background in paganism and well she pretty much knows me in and out. Anyway from what I been starting to look through I have to agree, I feel like Wicca is where I want to go with my life and I stumbled upon here as a way to meet like minded people and hopefully start to build my knowledge of the craft of Wicca and be able to practice it myself. Like I said I am very new to the craft and have watched a few small what is Wicca videos but I love learning new things so I am excited to get into it.

For what it's worth, in the last year or so I have been feeling more attuned to nature than I ever have. I never been a nature person really, and my hobbies reflect that. I am the gamer, music lover, developer type, but I don't know what it is but the past year or so I been really feeling this connection to nature in my mind and body. I don't know if that means anything but thought I would throw it out there in case it does mean something.

Anyway greetings, all and I hope to get to know some people, maybe make some friends and learn more about Wicca.

Thanks

Hi & welcome to the forum. I'd say that your new awareness of Nature is part and parcel of opening yourself to the new venture into Wicca. Like the chicken and the egg, its hard to say which came first.
