The only thing I can think of is use the colour green. Not only does it promote fertility magikly but also this colour triggers sexual desire in your brain.

Ok so I want to have like soon, maybe in a year or two so I wanted to see what was up in this thread (been away for a bit) :?

And this conversation moved towards Depo which I am on and so I need to add my two cents on the subject (of course)

Depo Side Effects (that the doctor will NOT tell you about!)

50lb weight gain (I wish I weight 106 and I can't gain any weight and I'd like about 20-30 more to be a healthy weight)

Severe Depression (I had that Before I got on Depo and t hasn't been worse or better since starting)

Extreme Excitability, Nervousness (I don't think so *thinks* nope)

Panic Attacks, Paranoia ( I'm the Queen of Paranoia anyway, you should have seen me in High School with a period, Christ I wore sweaters around my waist just in case I bleed on to my pants  )

Great loss of libido (Where can I get one of those?? I think they forgot to install mine)

Painful intercourse (Nope)

Severe lack of lubrication (Definitly Nope)

Lowered immune system (I have an Iron problem, so if it added to it I wouldn't have noticed)

Hair falling out ( I had that before I call it Stress)

Unwanted hair on breasts, toes, face (* does a quick check* Nope)

Violent headaches ( I have Migranes all the time, that is why I got put on the Depo, cause the pill was the apprent cause, I guess the fact that it runs in my family had nothing to do with it)

Extremely sore, stiff, crippled muscles all over body ( I have that from work sitting in a cold office all day does that to a person)

Blurry vision - trouble getting my eyes to focus on objects (Nope)

Breast Tenderness & Pains - Fibrocystic breasts (Maybe, good possibility)

Acne - not (teenager type acne - large boil/cyst like acne) (Nope, I have the first kind, maybe my fiance is on this stuff too though might explain that thing on his back  )

Suicidal thoughts because daily debilitating pain was too much (Nope)

I think everyone is different some people still get their periods that I know. So it depends. I'm getting my last shot tomorrow and I'm going off it to get my body back into gear for when I want a baby. I dread the thought of my period coming back, cause I was SO SICK all the time but I'm prepared to do what I have to do to be a Mommy.

help me plz

My aunt is trying to get pregnant. She is really overweight, and I have told her that this reduced your chances of getting pregnant by quite a bit.

She isn't exactly the healthiest person, and hardly ever works out. Since I've been living with her and my uncle, who is also overweight, I've been making them buy me fresh fruit and vegetables...they complain about the cost, I complain about their eating habits, but they buy it because they know I'm right. I also encourage them to take walks and participate in activities of that nature...they can't use their excersize equipment because someone is living in basement, where it is located. But, once they move out this weekend, they don't know how much I am going to harp on them. I want them to live, and have a baby! In the end, they'll thank me.

Is there anything I can do to send good energy her way to increase her fertility? She isn't exactly Wiccan...haha. So, I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to help.

Any ideas, lemme know!!

:D For one, the headaches could be a side effects of not eating carbs and drinking plenty of fluids. I know, as in the military they make you march and exercise 6 days a week and you can never get enough food (energy) or water to keep hydrated. If you are trying to lose weight by exericising more than 45 minute sessions. You need to drink at least 24 oz. of water, gatorade or something before and after you exercise or you will get migraines. Also, everyone is soo into this no carb diets, that you need carbs a lot if you exercise for any length of time.. carbs = energy for your cardio vascular system.. :D or you could be (can't spell) anemic. I became so after I was on depo for 9 years.. so a couple of shots may not give you the side effects most women are having after like 5 years on the stuff.. if you understand what I am saying... (it is the prolonged use and side effects that can screw you up) as like with any drug.

Dubbadub, (sorry I HAD to say that rofl)

I drink 125 oz of water a day, or so I try. I try not to ingest too many carbs but I'm not the atkins diet kinda person. I'm Anemic because I'm damned close to vegetarian. Iron pills make me sick as a dog, so I have to give in and eat chicken every now and then.

I've heard too many military horror stories, sounds like they messed you up bigtime. I know it's an honourable job serving the country, but um, I'd rather stay at home sitting on my bum and continue being a phone/cam dominatrix for 2.99 a minute thanks LOL. Omg I didn't say that.

Your fitness trainers story kinda irks me a little. I don't see why she wasn't advised to cut down on exercise, and even if she was it's a little vain to think that cutting down on exercise might ruin her figure. Once you get to a certain fitness point all you need is maintenance really.

All my exercise is low resistance, but after awhile it does raise the heartbeat so it's not physically exhausting like running, circuit training, all that crazy stuff the military has you do. I might now mention that I hated JROTC and dropped it like a steaming hot potato.

Are you sure it was the shot that made you anemic (btw you spelled it right)? Anemia is caused by lack of iron in the blood, and I don't see quite how the shot could affect iron absorbtion. But even so, that's why the doctor gives you those nasty multivitamins when you get on most types of birth control. Mine have to be iron free as like said above, iron pills make me sick.

Wow this is turning into a really long thread. Which has nothing to do with Wicca past the first two or three replies LOL, my fault! I'll take the blame!

Oo Celeste I wish I was 106 lbs. Trade? hehe. I'd be ONE pound underweight. And I'm sure I can manage to plop my bum on the couch and eat cookies n cream ice cream while watching lifetime for a night.

Basically any way I look at the situation, all birth control sucks. We weren't meant to prevent our bodies from getting pregnant, so to an extent I agree that it is a form of poison. I couldn't handle the pill, and the shot I'm handling alot better than most people, I'm NOT going for the IUT, cervical caps, or rubbers (I'm allergic..severely and no I don't sleep around with alot of people who have slept around with alot of people), much less the foam. Ok? The foam sucks! I tried it. I filled it once, it overfilled, I took the can off the applicator and it sprayed all over my ex's walls and all over us. Needless to say it killed the mood so I bear a grudge. LOL

They also have a contraceptive film, which sucks because it leaves a "residue" on the men. And you have to wait 15 minutes for it to liquify.

*In a Birth control sucks either which way you look at it mood* The best thing to do for any of us that might potentially have fertility problems is tell the doctor the situation, and get a second opinion. One doctor might tell you that birth control (pill or shot) is a NONO and that it might cause infertility so I've heard. Others will promise you the moon.

I don't know what to do, bleugh.

Remember what I told you in the email Chesire, lol (about the sex). Watch out for those boys. They have cooties.

There have been class-action lawsuits organized against Depo, but I think what happened was that the attorneys wussed out and backed down. A lawyer would have to have some BIG BALLS to want to go up against a drug company. There are lots of women who want to sue, but it seems an impossible task, so we just try to spread the word about how dangerous it can be. It is true that using it long term can have worse effects, but some people get horrible effects right away. Most women gain huge amounts of weight on it. It's a rare case for anyone to lose weight on Depo, but I'm sure it happens to some people like our friend here. Anything can happen, but don't ever take Depo because you want to lose weight. Depo, like all birth control, makes your body think you're pregnant. Normally when you're pregnant, you gain weight. There are also other factors involved, such as Depo causes your estrogren to drop because it is made of only progesterone (unlike many Pills which have both.) So your progestorone goes way up and your estrogen goes way down. That's what causes you to have manly side effects like hair growth. The hormonal imbalance is very unnatural and not good for your body at all and that is why many women experience such awful side effects. It can also cause infertility. Sometimes, if a young woman asks her doctor for birth control, they will recommend Depo and not tell her anything bad about it and will say that her fertility will be fine. But if an older woman (late 20's or so) goes, the doctor may tell her that she shouldn't take Depo because she may have a lot of trouble conceiving and carrying a baby to full term. Of course, this depends on the doctor as well. Many doctors are not aware of all the side effects and they won't tell you about it, so do your own research. There are entire email groups dedicated to women who were on Depo and who are now trying to get pregnant. It is such a difficult task that they have started a support group for it. Let me know if you want the address. It's a UK group.

Depo works fine for some people, like Celeste, but the number of women who have severe side effects from it is enough to warrant banning this drug. I really think it should be taken off the market. It's unsafe. You guys do know, don't you, that Depo was originally created to chemically castrate MALE sex offenders? Probably the side effects were too much for the men, so they figured they'd give it to women instead. I f*cking hate doctors and drug companies and the way they treat women.

Congratulation Dubh! I'm happy for you! :)

Did you mean to post that twice, Kat? I left it there just in case. I figured you may have reposted because no one answered about the fertility problem. Look on my spells page under "Home, Family, and Pregnancy Spells" (scroll down and it's on the left side):
Witchcraft Spells

Bookmark that spells page and check it when you need a spell because there are tons of spells on there.

I also just made this page which has a ton of fertility and pregancy spells on it. That is all that is on the page:

:D I am going to see my OB today for the first time. I am nervous. I am hoping that goddess will let me keep this one.

I have some advice for KatrelBelNY. Your aunt, if she wants a baby very very badly, she will be willing to do anything, I mean, anything (like breaking her bad eating habits, and starting to exercise) to have a baby.

Weight is an issue when getting pregnant, but that will not stop her from getting pregnant. It will only make her pregnancy tuff and high risk for problems with the baby and her weight.

I have the same problem, but I am on the opposite end, I am extremely skinny.. I have always had a very very high metablism. All my life.. I only started to gain a little weight 2 years ago when I turned 26. I have a very high risk of losing a pregnancy due to I don't have enough stored fat...

It goes both ways.. :D But in the last 2 years, I have tried to gain more weight and eat right foods, no sweet stuff, and eating a lot of meat.. as my hubby is vegetarian, we don't have a lot of meat around the house  But your aunt, if she wants a child she can try to take a year or so to get her body in shape for a baby. She may actually have other issues such as high blood pressure or other things, you may not know about.

Many people can't understand why they can't get pregnant but never take the time to analyze there lifestyles or even find out when they are ovulating in order to get pregnant.

My suggestion to your aunt would be:
1. Find out if she is ovulating every month. She can find out be basal body temp., a ClearBlue Easy Monitor or over the counter ovulation kit, or go to her doctor and have them conduct a blood test to find out her FSH levels. These are the levels of hormones that are released before and at the time of ovulation., or she can check her cervical mucus daily. There are books that show you how to do this, very simple and easy.

2. Just because you have a period, does not mean you are ovulating. She needs to really start on step one. Once she finds out when and what 2 days she is fertile (out of a month) then she can start trying to concieve.

3. These two days are the only two days when she actually releases and egg, after she releases her egg, it can get fertilized up to 5 days after she ovulates. So her timing must be just right to have the sperm travel and fertilize the egg. A good rule of thumb: if your cervical mucus is slippery, wet and slimey. She is probably fertile and can get pregnant.

4. Then it is just a matter of science, biology, and time. It can take normal healthy couples up to 1 year to concieve. So, if she and hubby have been trying actively, (you know what I mean) That means having sex 3 or more times when she is fertile, then wham bam thank you mam! She will eventually get prego.

5. If she has other problems in trying to get prego after 1 year of actively trying, then she should see a fertility specialists.

You can do a number of spells on her but it will ultimately be in her hands.
Good Luck.. By the way, I and hubby have been trying for 6 months..and I only have one tube and ovary. I just keep on trying, and monitoring my fertility status. :D

:D Oh, and also, I forgot to mention, it may not be her, but hubby that may have sperm problems.. but it is doubtful, most men's sperm are good unless they do a lot of hardcore drugs, drinking or bike riding. Yes, too much cycling can kill your sperm or too much hot tub time..

Thanks a lot, and yes, I did post that twice intentionally because my questions were never answered, but that's okay!

Another thing:

My aunt has a thyroid problem. I don't know exactly what that means, but I do know that she has it. Also, she has low blood-sugar. Could these things affect(effect?) her fertility? My uncle is overweight by about 70 pounds. He says that his weight doesn't a/effect his sperm count, but my gut tells me otherwise.

My aunt has also been taking a fertility drug. I think it's a shot every month. I'll try to find out what it is...

If you have any knowledge of any of this, please holla at me!

Thanks a lot

Kat
