Has anyone ever done the love spell called "Love Spell #9"? If so, where it says to add 9 whole cloves, can I substitute the whole cloves for like 9 tablespoons/teaspoons of ground cloves? I don't live where I can easily access 9 whole cloves .
Thank you in advance and Blessed be :)

In most spells and potions, you can easily switch between using fresh herbs with dried, and whole herbs with ground herbs. If you follow what is described as the "classic" version of Love Spell #9, each ingredient is added in multiples of nine. My suggestion is that if you wish to substitute ground cloves for whole, use nine "pinches" of ground clove. Any larger portion may be overwhelming. If you Google search Love Spell #9, you will find another recipe that is totally different than the original, but the ingredients may be easier for you to find.
I'd like to add in a word of caution here. A few of the sites that contain this recipe warn against using it. The cautions are that the results are potent, difficult to control and long lasting.
Here are a couple links to things you might want to consider before using this potion:

I'm confused. You can get ground cloves, but not whole cloves? I can, and have, purchasd whole cloves in the spice aisle of my local supermarket. I've used them for making pomanders at hollisat time.

@ Echo of Shadows... Thank you for the advice! The recipe I copied didn't come with a warning label but reading through it, I assumed it to be very powerful and possibly harmful. Thank you for making it more clear!

@Snowcat... The reason I can't get whole cloves is because the nearest supermarket/large grocery store and WalMart is almost 2 hours away that includes two ferry crossings (I live on an island). I don't have my license and believe it or not, it's rather hard most of the time to get a ride to town. Especially with a VERY active 4-year old boy. The small general store here where I live has only the packaged "Our Compliments" brand ground herbs and seasonings.

This is honestly one I do no reckon with but there is definetly a warning that comes along with it. Not sure it is the same one you found but here it is:

A word of warning: This potion is extremely potent and should be used with caution. Its results have been reported to be very intense, long-lasting, and often difficult to control or reverse. So please be absolutely sure before you give it to an intended lover that he or she is the right one for you and vice versa. (Do not allow anyone other than your beloved to look at,touch, or drink the love potion.) This potion can be mixed with another wine or put into food or drink.

Thank Lillady. With much thought and consideration, I'm putting this spell in my little pile of spells to burn and forget about. I don't want anything to happen that can't be controlled or reversed.
