Energy well in the house...

I don't really know how to call this... so I'll just explain.

There is a special spot in my living room. My cat seems to react to it strangely: whenever she is in the room, she circles the place until she walks into the spot... and does a forward roll. And I mean, she does it like a human would do it. She just rolls forward in this precise spot. Sometimes she just puts her forehead on the floor at the same place and rolls clumsily on her side. Most of the time she keeps going through it before circling the room again.
She was never a playful cat, though. When she does it, she looks like she has no idea what she is doing, and is kinda confused.

The weird thing is that there is only one other place she does that, and it's on the second floor, exactly above this same spot. It's less usual, but it happens. It's like there is a column of something invisible going through the house, from the earth to the sky.

I am a beginner in all this, so I could never feel anything special before. I don't know much about energy fields and such. Still, these last days, I decided I wanted to try and see if I could "touch" it. And indeed, it felt like I was moving my hand in some sort of current.
I then went up to feel the same spot on the upper floor. It felt less tangible. Then, I went on the third floor, and I couldn't feel anything.
This morning, I was asked if the same was going on in my basement, and I realized I had never wondered about it. So I went down and tried again... It felt stronger, although I'm only a novice. It was like the closer I went to the earth, the thickest this column got.

I still have no idea what it is, or if there is any use to it. Do you have an idea...?

Hi! The Earth has a network of energy payhways, usually called leylines. These are the main ones which form a sort of grid. Where they connect are very powerful vortexes.

This spot in your house is probably a spot on a smaller grid system. Or, there is some unique geologic minerals beneath that spot.

There's 2 things you could do. First, set up a Shrine. Second, use it as a "power place" and meditate in the spot.

But make sure you use proper protection rituals before you do! And since it is from the Earth, make sure you don't do anything to upset it's balance!

I had no idea what a Ley line was until now... Thanks for the information!

Setting up a shrine on it might be a little difficult, since it's not in the most convenient place. I would either have to put it in a dusty and congested basement, in the living room, or at the foot of my parents' bed... Since my family has no idea I am Wiccan, I think I'll have to pass.

However, meditating there might be a good idea. I even tried once, and I got some quick visualisation. I hope it won't move, I'd like to study it more, and it already seems like it's not as active as a few years back. My cat used to roll there five times in a row, now it's barely once a day.

You might set a lidded mason jar of ordinary water on the basement spot for 24 hours (water will absorb the energy), then use the water on some plants & wait a few days. If they respond well, it's ok to drink. Drinking charged water at bed time could influence dreams.

There's a Ley Hunter website that might have useful info.

This is valuable advice. I will try it. Thank you!

You can make simple dowsing rods to pick up energy flow. Get two of the original bic pens, take out the ink cylinder and writing head and take out the little plastic cap so you just have two empty plastic cylinders. Get a wire cloths hanger. Just below where the ends are twisted together to form the hanger end clip them so you don't have to deal with the bent up parts. Cut in half in the long part of the wire. Bend the wire pieces into - L - shaped wire pieces. Insert wire pieces into the plastic tubes so they ride freely in the plastic tube which is then gripped carefully one in each hand. Move them slowly through the area to see strength and flow edges.

It didn't work... I did as you said, except I used plastic straws instead of pens, since I'm not strong enough to take them to pieces...

The long part of the antennas are good, but the inside part is a little twisted, I couldn't make them flat. So when I got weird results I thought maybe I was pressing the metal through the straws, and I decided to try with pens. I found some larger ones (these big four colors pens) and I tried again.

It still did nothing. I tried in the basement too. Sometimes they spread, but it was kinda random.

Does that mean I just made it up? Did I trick myself into believing I could feel something when there was naught...?

Or maybe it did whittle away after all... Which would explain why my cat doesn't roll as much now as she did a year back.

I'm a bit disappointed with me... Did I do something wrong? Was I supposed to use a magnet at some point?

Didn't do anything wrong. As you picked up on ,keeping the wire from touching the hands so they are not influenced by the person holding them is the big thing. The problem is the straws are the correct size, just not hard and supportive enough , the 4 color pens to big. Keep your eyes out for something on the store shelves. You are very aware. A talent that will serve you .

I don't think an actual iron magnet is needed, as we're not talking about that specific kind of geomagnetic flow, but more of an electromagnetic like static electricity is "magnetic" when you run a comb thru your hair and the hair lifts off your head and follows the comb.
