Everything Under the Moon

Hi everyone, I was an old member had to make a new account.
Although I wasn't too advanced I am trying to write a spell.. that has a time limit but also allows the person to express unhappiness so you can reverse the spell and let them go also trying to give them as much free will as possible and the ability to tell you they are unhappy. Now I have been being very selective of the words because what I'm trying to do isn't a total love spell.. If you notice.. no where have I said I want them to fall in love with me or anything, all I want them to think about me and give a chance.
My issues are I'm not sure of the words, herbs, candles, or procedure is right so I urge you all to help in anyway you can. Or if you think it's fine the way it is let me know as well.. it seems to be all over the place. Any words put between stars or brackets is to talk to you guys and not a part of the spell lol.

I heard drinking chamomile tea helps relax you and adding ginger help strengthen spells? Make the tea add a bit of ginger NO SUGAR??

candles orange,white,red

Clear bowl or white bowl

Sage,lemon,vanilla,cacao,cayenne pepper ,rose petals(pink I guess),Peach,Ginger, Extra virgin olive oil.

(not sure how to work these in though, I was thinking blend/mash these all together take a plain white cloth dip it in the mix and lightly dab it ALL OVER the back side of the paper(charge it the night before a waxing moon) and during the night of waxing moon write the spell on the front think about the person and their face picturing the two of you happy together picturing them contacting you for that second chance. Think of the sweetness of the herbs used and how you want that to positively reflect on what your intentions are.No FORCEFUL thoughts in mind only sincere hopeful ones ) Roll up the paper and burn it touching the paper to each candle flame,Let the paper burn completely in the bowl scatter the ashes outside and come back in and watch the candles burn(perhaps some more tea) while focusing on the spell you just did and the person. I'm not sure.

Let me know what you all think Of some reason I always feel a little silly sharing these. I fully believe it will work because I believe in myself, nature and energy. But I would prefer to have someone more advanced than myself go over it.

The best way to approach love spells is to cast a spell upon yourself to make you the kind of person they would fall in love with, or to make yourself irresistible to them. Since you've probably already tried the former, using magic to bring you whatever that special attractive something is might be a good idea. If you wanted your spell to have a high level of free will, you would use wording like "I call power unto myself to be (whatever it is you want) …" in the beginning of your spell. You might want to do this part in a pre-ritual cleansing or something. You could take a bath, drink the chamomile tea, and make a sachet with the vanilla, cacao, rose petals, peach, and a bit of oil. These reagents draw love and lovely qualities to you. The other ingredients, ginger, sage, lemon, and cayenne are all more firey, good for the strength of your spell, the powerful love and intimacy you want, etcetera. You might want to save those herbs to use in actually casting your spell.

When I use herbs in spells I usually either mix them into my chalice full of hot water and inhale the aromas, or light a charcoal disc and drop them directly onto the coal like loose incense and scry in the smoke for omens. You could do this while saying the words to your spell. Using a gum or resin like frankincense or copal ground up into your other herbs will give your loose incense a nice sparkle when it combusts, great for magical "spikes" while reciting a spell. If you have the luxury of an outdoor fire pit or something, throwing loose incense is great, and you could throw the spell into it as well. If not, burning the spell in candles would do well also. You wouldn't want to rub the mixture on the paper and try to burn it, it would burn irregularly and interrupt your concentration.

Your wording is good, but a specific time limit does infringe upon free will. Your aim should be to attract the person, have your full potential and good qualities revealed to them, and for it to be determined whether or not you're meant to be. The only re-wording I would suggest is

"I give you the power to reason/now and again when we witness this season"

This could open up the potential for the person to "snap out" of the spell at the same point in the year after your first year of happiness. If that makes sense. Like, if everything is going well but there's really something being suppressed by the spell, it wouldn't hold influence over him much longer.

So I would do it like….

-Ritual cleansing bath with vanilla, cacao, rose petals, and peach for attractiveness and pure intentions
-Grounding, clearing, casting circle
-Making of incense (this could be done before too) lemon, ginger, sage cayenne
-Charge and light candles, maybe carve runes or anoint with oil
-Burn or inhale incense vapor, visualize or interpret smoke omens
-Once visualization is at a good peak, recite the spell, if burning incense, use a lot now
-Visualize again, now begin to earth the power, perhaps scry for omens in the smoke, open your circle and release the energy out to your love!

Hope this isn't totally different from your regular practice or too much! It just seemed like a fun question to answer

And my only concern is trying to get these items together.
But I totally love your idea's I will try to incorporate them as much as I can. And I figured giving someone a year
and granting the right to express how they feel would have been enough but you are correct cause in the end it wouldn't be free that much of free will now would it, but if at the end if everything is good let love carry on with it's natural course...
do you think it's all too contradictory to the whole purpose of a love spell? I think the idea of opening them up to my attractive qualities is amazing because I wasn't able to show that.. I was too nervous.

Maybe you should just try for that then before casting a spell that would influence them.
Cast an attractiveness spell on yourself, and draw in the energy to be calm, cool and collected around him.
If he still doesn't notice him, pull out the big guns with the spell

As for where to get them, you can get everything but sage at the grocery store. You can buy sage at metaphysical shops, they sell them in smudge sticks more commonly than any other herbs.

Well my main point here ain't to pass judgement.It is to demonstrate that love spells are doomed by definition to fail since "true love" caused by a spell aint true.Maybey real but not true.I suggest a spell to attact love instead rather than a dominating spell on the guy you're currently obssesing with (been there,done that-complite waste of time).You may also wanna check out your actual compatibility before you try anything.Numerology and astrology are some options.Now if you still insist actions that have no symbolic meaning on the ritual are irrelevant and there of no importance.Just try to ritualy destroy them as part of the spell.Now generally you wana just find herbs/cards/symbols whtevers corresponding with the desired goal.There are list on this very website (somewhere I think)
