Pole Shift

According to this you.tube the sun is setting 8 degrees further north than 2-3 years ago. I know the setting sun is now visible from my living room window on the north side of my house, & I've lived here 23 years. It's never been visible from this window until this year. My rosebush that used to be in full late afternoon shade, now is in the sun from 10:00 AM thru dusk. It's loving the extra sun.

I saw another you.tube piece that suggested the 2011 Japan tsunami's earthquake may have caused a 7-8 degree axis shift. Think of all the predictions of a 2012 pole shift, which is magnetic.

And seismic activity in Yellowstone is altering Old Faithful's rhythm.

Hmm.

If I recall, the earth's wobble takes around nine years or 18 years to go full cycle, so the moon rises and sets moving further north 9 years and going back south 9 more. I've seen that much from my east facing kitchen window and whether it frames the full moon or not. It makes sense the sun moves too, but like I said, it never actually set below the horizon while shining thru a north window in 23 years, and no buildings have been removed, so something has to have moved a bit more than usual. I wondered if it was noticed by more people than farmers and arm-chair gardeners. I wonder too if it effects solstice position at New Grange or other Neolithic monuments.

it was cloudy here on Summer Solstice, so I didn't get to make my pencil mark on the wall to note the solstice shadow. I've skipped so many years now, that's lost meaning. But usually by the 23rd, dawn sunlight comes straight thru as my east window and interior doors line up. Solstice was only 12 days ago. But the last 2 days have been clear, and I did not see the sun shining thru to my living room wall at all. Instead it's coming thru my kitchen window (further north of the doors) and blinding me while I make my first morning cup of coffee.it's been this way for a while but I didn't pay attention. Just squinted. Uh, the sun is in the wrong place. I thought I was imagining things.

We went to Yellowstone two years ago. My daughter and I noticed marked differences in geothermal areas from when we were there in 1991. It may be that the pole shift us happening much more gradually than was originally predicted.

The moon has a cycle of 18, 18 , 19 years. The axis of the earth has a wobble, a drift and pression. That's why the Mayan calendar system is even more exact then ours. It includes all the cycles even out to the 26,000 year pression.

Didn't some people insist that the Mayan calendar predicted the end if the world on 12/21/12? I know that things like that can be misread and misinterpreted. We don't usually have the correct context for things that old.

What the Mayan calendar predicted was the shifting of ages. Not an apocalyptic nightmare

Yup! The Mayans looked to the change of the BacTuone, much like in our Zodiac we are changing from The age of Pieces to the age of Aquarius.

I thought that was the case. The whole 12/21/12 thing was right up there with Y2K. I was working nights at a hospital on New Year's Event that year. People swore our computers would crash at midnight. I pointed out that we would have already heard of problems from the other side of the international date line, if it was going to happen.

That old saying "as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west" needs updating. Umm. It's unsettling. ... I suppose these shifts have happened before?

Just for about the last 3 billion years, after the solar system calmed down, as far as the brainy cosmologists can figure. It's not like they were there. At least I don't think they were there.
