Spell for Lighting the Way
This is a spell so that someone may notice the pathway to you. I have written two variations: one for love, one for employment. These are not spells to cause someone to choose you (either choose to love you or choose to employ you), as that is probably impossible and definitely unethical, but rather it is meant to ensure that you are noticed, that you are given a fair chance, and that you are considered.

This is an ideal version of the spell that I wrote, and is considerably more complicated than the spell I ended up performing, because I was not able to have all the materials I wanted at the time I needed to perform it. I imagined that this was the spell I was performing, however, and got the intended results.

Materials
Altarspace
Wand
Boline
Cutting board
White candle (or candle representing the god and goddess)
Candle representing yourself
Candle representing the other party
Matches
Spoon or Citrus Juicer
Chalice
Jar
Ribbon or String (purple for psychic clarity, communication, persuasiveness, red for love, or green for employment; natural colors will work fine as well)
Something that symbolizes you and what you have to offer
Something that symbolizes the other party and what they have to offer
Lemon (whole; for removing blockages, opening pathway; also for love)
Orris Root (to promote popularity; to aid communication & help open dialogs; also used to draw or hold love, romance)
Cloves (to gain what is sought, to attract attention of other people and banish negativity, to bring people together, create a sense of kinship; for clarity)
Coriander (for union, bringing people together, peace & protection)
Ginger (to draw adventure and new experiences)
Mint (to promote energy, communication, vitality, success; to draw customers)
Orange Peel (to help someone make up their mind; for luck in business negotiations; for love and business blessings)
Rosemary (to improve memory and aid in clear thinking)
Salt (for protection)

Method
Cast a circle, and ask for the blessing of the god and goddess as they watch over your work. Light the white candle that you may be guided by the light of their wisdom.
With the boline, cut the lemon in half vertically on the cutting board. With the spoon or citrus juicer, juice the lemon into the chalice. Put the seeds back into the lemon halves, and set the halves open-side-up on the cutting board/altarspace. The left half symbolizes you, and the right half symbolizes the other party.
In the left half of the lemon, which symbolizes you, place the ginger, the mint, and the item which symbolizes you and what you have to offer. Sprinkle some salt on top of this. Lift this half into the air with both hands and recite the following:

(For love)
I am ready and willing
to offer the best that I can give.
I am able and eager
to bring the things that you require.
I ask only to be noticed,
to be fairly considered,
and for it to be known
that I bring love
and my heart is warm.

(For employment)
I am ready and willing
to offer the best that I can give.
I am able and eager
to bring the things that you require.
I ask only to be noticed,
to be fairly considered,
and for it to be known
that I bring potential
and a tenacious spirit.

Carve the following bindrune into the candle representing you, and light it with the candle representing Spirit.

In the right half of the lemon, which symbolizes the other party, place the orange peel, the rosemary, and the item which symbolizes the other party and what they have to offer. Sprinkle some salt on top of this. Lift this half into the air with both hands and recite the following:
May the path be open
from you to me,
may it be ready and clear to you,
and strong for the weight of your feet.
May the way be lit
by the goddess and god,
bright and welcoming
that it may be clear for you to understand
the love (/gifts) I have to offer.
May you see the way
from you to me,
and fairly judge whether
it be the best way to walk.

Carve the following bindrune into the candle representing the other party, and light it from the candle representing you.

Drip wax from the You candle into the Other Party lemon. Drip wax from the Other Party candle into the You lemon. Add the Orris Root, Cloves, and Coriander evenly to both halves of the lemon, except also add a small amount of ground Orris Root to the lemon juice in the chalice.
Join the two lemon halves together as best as you can fit them, and tie them together with the string or ribbon with three knots, three times around. Drip wax from both candles onto the knots you tied.
Drink the lemon juice and orris root potion with the intent of bringing the other party into yourself. Pinch the candles. Close the circle. Bury the lemon in the earth as near to the other party as reasonable. Bury both candles in the earth as near to you as reasonable.

Simple Charms: A Compilation
by Victoria Martyn
Who says that magick has to be complex? Here are fifty simple charms that utilize many different common items, herbs, fruits and vegetables. Note: Please do not use any of these charms in place of medical treatment, or when outside help is obviously advisable.
NOTE: There are only forty items here. I am sure you can find the full list of fifty online, but I can only imagine that I cut ten out for a reason. I may have cut out more than ten and added a few, I do not know. The point is, I have edited this list.
1. Lay thorny branches on your doorstep to keep evil from your dwelling.
2. Eat a pinch of thyme before bed, and you will have sweet dreams.
3. Place chips of cedar wood in a box with some coins to draw money to you.
4. Carry an anemone flower with you to ward against illness.
5. Hang a bit of seaweed in the kitchen to ward evil spirits.
6. Keep a jar of alfalfa in your cupboards to ensure the prosperity of your house.
7. Burn allspice as an incense to draw money or luck to you, as well as speed healing.
8. Cut an apple in half, and give one half to your love to ensure a prosperous relationship.
9. Carry an avocado pit with you to let your inner beauty shine outwardly.
10. Place a piece of cotton in your sugar bowl to draw good luck to your house.
11. Place almonds in your pocket when you need to find something.
12. Scatter chili peppers around your house to break a curse.
13. Carrying a packet of strawberry leaves will help ease the pains of pregnancy.
14. Throw rice into the air to make rain.
15. Eat olives or grapes to increase fertility.
16. Carry a potato in your pocket or purse all winter to ward against colds.
17. Eat five almonds before consuming alcohol, to lighten the effects of intoxication.
18. Place a pine branch above your bed to keep illness away.
19. Chew celery seeds to help you concentrate.
20. Carry a chunk of dry pineapple in a bag to draw luck to you.
21. Ask an orange a yes or no question before you eat it, then count the seeds: if the seeds are an even number, the answer is no. If an odd number, yes.
22. Toss oats out your back door to ensure that your garden or crop will be bountiful.
23. Place lilacs around your house to rid yourself of unwanted spirits.
24. Eat lettuce to drive lustful thoughts from your mind.
25. Rub a lettuce leaf over your forehead to help you sleep.
26. Add lemon juice to your bathwater for purification.
27. Eat grapes or carry a blade of grass to increase psychic powers.
28. Smell dill to get rid of hiccups.
29. If you place a dill sachet over your door, those who wish you ill can not enter your home.
30. Place cotton on an aching tooth, and the pain will ease.
31. Carry a small onion to protect against venomous animals.
32. Place a sliced onion in the room of an ill person to draw out the sickness.
33. Place an onion underneath your pillow to have prophetic dreams.
34. Place morning glory seeds under your bed to cure nightmares.
35. Walk through the branches of a maple tree to ensure that you will have a long life.
36. Mix salt and pepper together and scatter it around your house to dispel evil.
37. Smell peppermint to help you sleep.
38. Eat a peach to assist in making a tough decision.
39. Carry peach wood to lengthen your lifespan.

Triskelion
This from http://www.dancingwithwater.com/products/triskelions/.
There are both a masculine and a feminine form of the triskelion. The basic masculine form is made using a single copper wire. The feminine version is made by twisting 3 smaller wires together before forming the spirals. The masculine form imparts a stronger, more direct energetic influence while the feminine form has a more delicate energy flow. Either form will work independently. However, for maximum benefit, use triskelions in pairs.
Ways to use a triskelion:
1. Structure and raise the vibratory frequency of water (place on/in a water bottle, pitcher, or other container)
2. Protect water and biological organisms from harmful electromagnetic fields (place in your pocket, on a necklace or bracelet, on an animal’s collar, or on your water vessel)
3. Protect the programs/imprints in water (place on your water vessel after programming/imprinting)
4. Energize salt solutions (place on/underneath your salt solutions)
5. Enhance plant growth (hang from a tree or bush or place it on the soil near any plant)
6. Cleanse crystals (Place in a glass of water with a crystal and leave several hours or overnight)
She changes everything she touches, and everything she touches changes.
We are changers, everything we touch can change.

Cloves 'n' Cream Cordial
From tressabelle.wordpress.com.
Cloves are a strong, yet great tasting sedative. There is a reason I use such a tiny amount of cloves in the above recipe; if you take too much, cloves can really knock you out for a good long while! The milk made warm by the tea is a sedative as well, but a very mild one, and mostly serves to make this a milder drink for children. (For adults more resistant to herbal sedatives, use 1/2 tsp. cloves, and adjust tea to milk ratio as needed.) This is an especially helpful drink for mouth sores as well, for the milk coats and the cloves numb.
Have this drink with a banana for a perfect sleep-promoting bedtime snack. Bananas contain just the right amount of starch, tryptophan, and melatonin to make you naturally sleepy. Bananas are also a good source of potassium, to ward off any leg cramps during the night. If you have any heartburn from supper, bananas will take care of that as well. All these factors combine to make bananas the perfect bedtime snack.

You will need:
ground cloves
1/2 c. water
honey, to taste
milk or cream, to taste

Procedure:
Place cloves in a cocoa mug and boil the water in a tea kettle. (I use anywhere from a small pinch to 1/4 tsp. cloves.) Pour water in mug and let steep 5 minutes. Add honey to taste and stir to dissolve, then and add enough milk to fill mug, or to taste, and stir.
She changes everything she touches, and everything she touches changes.
We are changers, everything we touch can change.

Rose Elixir
Adapted from Kiva Rose
As a medicine, Rose is cooling and drying, and is a classic anti-inflammatory for any part of the body, with special emphasis on the digestive, reproductive and circulatory systems.
Rose Elixir is relaxing and uplifting at the same time and can be used in almost any case of trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, heartbreak and chronic stress and fatigue to good effect.
This aromatic and tasty flower is also known for its ability to help restore a healthy balance of flora in the gut, and to resolve many gastric disturbances. It is especially useful in cases of excess heat where the tip of the tongue (an extension of the digestive tract, after all) is red and there are sensations of heat or burning in the belly.
The whole rose family is quite effective in the treatment of viruses, especially eruptive childhood viruses like chickenpox and any bug that manifests with abundant heat and inflammation and the Rose is no exception to that.
Externally, Rose is a superb wound and burn healer, and the honey reinforces its ability to resolve or prevent infection, to lessen inflammation and assist in the regeneration of new tissue. It also works great on itchy bug bites of all kinds and can even be very helpful for many venomous stings and bites.

You will need:
airtight glass jar
fresh aromatic rose petals to fill the jar
~1 pint good brandy
~1/3 pint raw honey (light wildflower types are best)
good stirring spoon

Procedure:
1. Fill the jar to the top with rose petals, minimizing air space.
2. Stop and smell the roses.
3. Slowly pour in the honey and stir until the rose petals are well-coated.
4. Fill to the top of the jar with brandy, stirring to remove bubbles as necessary and fill the jar evenly.
5. Close the jar, airtight, and shake gently to mix.
6. Let macerate in a cool, dark place for 4 to 6 weeks (or as long as you can stand to wait!).

Optional Additions:
Warming spices such as fresh Ginger, Beebalm (Monarda spp.) flowers, Orange peel, Cinnamon powder/sticks or Cardamom pods can add flavor and zing to the elixir, especially if you find Rose too cooling for your temperament. It’s easiest to add small amounts (to taste) after you add the honey and before you add the brandy.
Hawthorn or Cherry flowers can be mixed with the Rose petals for a formula that’s extra effective in the treatment of cardiac weakness, heart palpitations, high blood pressure as well as grief and heartbreak.
Evening Primrose flowers contribute a delicate floral taste, enhance the nervine and anti-spasmodic effects as well as making the elixir more effective for external treatment of burns and bug bites. Because Evening Primrose blooms later than Roses in most places, you may wish to simply leave you elixir to macerate until the Evening Primrose is in bloom and just add them in. Or, you can go ahead and strain it and just macerate the Evening Primrose directly in the Rose Elixir.

Cinnamon Clay
Don't remember where I found this. Credit is not to me.

You will need:
1 1/2 cups ground cinnamon
1 cup applesauce
1/3 cup white school glue (like Elmer's)
1 medium sized bowl
Flat surface for kneading
Wax paper
Rolling pin,
Cookie cutters - various types
Knife
Straw
Non-stick cooling rack
Ribbon

Procedure:
Mix cinnamon, applesauce, and glue together in a bowl, remove from the bowl and knead the mixture until it turns into a firm clay. Let it sit for about 30 minutes as clay is best used at room temp.
You may need to dust your rolling pin, hands or working surface with cinnamon, or use wax paper as a working surface. Roll out clay with a rolling pin to approx. 1/8 of an inch thick and use cutters to cut out desired shapes. If you are going to hang them, use a straw to cut out a hole near the top of the shape.
Place shapes on a non stick cooling rack (or wax paper, but you'll need to keep an eye on them and turn them over occasionally so that they dry evenly and dry flat). Dry the shapes for approx. 5 days. When dry you may put a ribbon through the hole for hanging, add to packages or anything else you cam think of.
She changes everything she touches, and everything she touches changes.
We are changers, everything we touch can change.
