the road less traveled

Firebird started out on her path in 1987 after finding her biological family where she learned of her Native American roots. She continued on a solitary journey, absorbing as much as she could about spirituality, when she joined a coven in 1994 where the focus was in Celtic shamanism, fertility, and healing. Ordained in 1999 in this Celtic tradition as well as in the ULC, she would be happy to answer questions on solitary practice as well as group dynamic. She specializes in herb lore, wildcrafting, as well as stones, ritual design, shapeshifting, dreamwork, spells, incense blends, and more. Feel free to stop in the Den of the Firebird and see if she can help.

Ha !... here we go for the wandering mind.
The roadless traveled or
the road less traveled,
either way you look at it, this is a place one does not trod frequently.

That is a beautiful picture. Did you take that yourself? If so, I am quite jealous of the view!

Thank you so much Pink!, Yes, in fact I did take the photo, at one time I fancied myself a photographer, that was with film though, expensive and a lot of no good pic's!
Anyway... the location is Paramount Ranch, the mountain at the right kinda behind the tree, we call
Mt. Ganesh, because from a certain angle it looks like a sleeping elephant. It is said the same mountain from a completely different angle, (go way left and view the Mt. due West) is the foundation for the iconic mountain symbol in Paramount Pictures. I don't really see it, and most of the imagry has added snow. If that mountain has ever had snow it would have been a rare day!
The section of road in the pic is a stretch of the old racetrack. In the 50's it was a very popular place for the races. I found some old footage, (no sound) ....if you see a bridge that the cars go under...I am standing at the south end of that old bridge when I took this pic. You will also notice the Mt Ganesh above where the "finish" sign is!

Blessings, Firebird

That looks like a nice place to spend a quite afternoon, maybe with a picnic.

I really want to go somewhere. Just get way for a day. Really, for a month, but a day might be feasible.
