I've had several dreams about a certain figure, an elderly woman (sorta? she looks older but at the same time she looks young...), who said her name was Sophia. In one particular dream, she was in my deceased grandmothers' house, and she had a table in the center of the living room with a crystal ball on it. She was telling me how to see into the future, but I kept getting distracted by what was on TV (a fantasy movie that involved a female hero (heroine?) slaying a dragon), and at this point I realized that I was only distracting myself from studies and things that would help me grow because I was afraid of failure. Once i realized this, I turned to her, and she looked at me with a sad smile. I woke up.
Like I said, I've had other dreams of her--one of them, i think, was when i saw her at my bus stop and she cryptically told me, "Not one, but two." To this very day i have no idea what she was talking about. I was 14 or 15 at the time.
Anyways, so I know that Sophia means "wisdom", but is she an archetype of my own subconscious, or she a goddess?
