Thanks sweetie, after I saw the Riu Chiu video I went walking in a Monkey wonderland smiley_dance and I was thinking of creating a playlist but haven't done it yet, the above is a great start. ::coolglasses:: They made a movie in 1968. I would recommend it for it's musical and historical value. It's called "Head".
This group of guys were really underrated. Few took them seriously, and they all had talent...
If you think about it, the Monkeys were really the first ones to be in Music Videos, due to their TV show that utilized one of their songs as part of the story line. I thought the slapstick comedy was hilarious, my mother thought it was horrible, course Dad didn't like either...always complaining that the instrumentals were too loud and you couldn't hear them singing, (but he said that about all rock and roll  )

there was TV movie made that documented how The Monkeys came into being:

Thanks for walking down memory lane with Kassandra and I,...

I'm a bit of Nez Head myself. I have always liked Mike Nesmith, pioneer of "country rock."
It's like walking down an empty street, listening to your own footsteps. But all you have to do is knock on any door and say, "If you'll let me in, I'll live the way you want me to live. And I'll think the way you want me to think." And all the blinds will go up, and all the doors will open, and you'll never feel lonely. Ever again.
