Ravencry's Book of Shadows

If you would prefer not to keep a physical Book of Shadows in your home for privacy reasons, you can collect the spells, rituals, correspondences, etc. that you would like to keep for future use and store them here. Start your own thread named "Name's Book of Shadows" and put your information in there, using as many posts as you need to. It's not private, but at least your parents won't see it. You can also get ideas from other people's Books of Shadows.

To pass an exam: You will need: A sprig of rosemary, a couple mint leaves, 1/2 cup grape juice, 1/2 cup of spring water, a chalice or glass, yellow candle Mix the grape juice and water together, add the herbs and muddle (you can do this with a silver tone spoon). After muddling (you'll be able to smell the herbs) light the yellow candle and say: Cerridwen, Crone of the Cauldron of Knowledge, I call you to this circle. Raise your glass to the east and say "My skills are good, my knowledge great, the results I want are mine to take" Kiss the glass 10 times and drink the potion. Do this the night prior and the morning of your exam.

To help with study:
Anoint two yellow candles with lemon oil and light them. Take a citrine quartz,
anoint with lemon oil also, and place in front of the candles so that the
candlelight shines on it. Chant the following:

"Charge the stone with candle light
To fill my mind with wisdom bright
To keep my mind alert and clear
So that no thought can interfere
With the process of my brain
So what I read is knowledge gained
For all my life to stay with me
This is my will, so mote it be!"

Let the candles burn and charge the stone while you study. Keep the stone with
you when you need to give papers, take exams or study.
A seasoned Green Witch am I, With plant wisdom and magic to share.
A child of the flowers am I, With blossoms budding from my hair.
A friend of the Fairies am I, A crown of leaves and flowers I wear.
A daughter of the Earth am I, Walking Her ways with feet ever bare.
A sister of the waters am I, Flowing wild and free without a care.
At one with the blowing winds am I, Singing softly through the midnight air.
A keeper of the fire am I, Let me kindle your passions if you dare.
Connected in Spirit with You am I, Fused together as one in prayer.
