I have a favorite book that I find is full of wisdom.
“Children have a different convention of the fearful until they have been taught the proper things to be shocked at.”

“I'm quite sure there is a simple way. The trouble is that simple ways so often come out of such complicated research.”

“It’s not my fault if I’m not any good at things like that.” “I’ll differ there,” Coker told her. “It’s not only your fault—it’s a self-created fault. Moreover, it’s an affectation to consider yourself too spiritual to understand anything mechanical. It is a petty and a very silly form of vanity. Everyone starts by knowing nothing about anything, but God gives him—and even her—brains to find out with. Failure to use them is not a virtue to be praised;”

“When a day that you happen to know is Wednesday starts off by sounding like Sunday, there is something seriously wrong somewhere.”

― John Wyndham, The Day of the Triffids
When everybody is thinking the same, nobody is thinking enough!
No battle is over until I win!
"Imagination creates reality". Richard Wagner

- If it weren't for nature, there would only be boredom.
- What suffices oneself, suffices no-one else.
- I think about what matters, you think about what counts.

I was sworn to secrecy but learned this from my gramma when I was 7.

Beans, beans the musical fruit
The more you eat 'em the more ya' toot
The more ya toot the better ya feel
So eat beans at every meal

But the prize was: d'ere was a loyttle boyd soyttin' on the coyb of Foyst 'n Toyty-Toyd, oytin' woyms an' choypin' an' boypin'.

Gramma was fun.
