I was just curious. Everyone seems to be.. not from PA.

I'm from the Philly-ish area. Where are you from?

I was born in Philly if that counts for anything :d. Also, until my Grandparents passed away they lived in Marion Station, which doesn't seem to be too well known by many people. Anyway... goodluck finding some more people in you're area. :)

Well, I've just further proved the fact aht Marion Station isn't well known.

I had absolutely no idea that that was even in PA.

Haha. See! It doesn't even come up in a google search, aside from in google images. It's right outside of Philly though, and it's just a section of Merion, if you've ever heard of that place. I guess it's a really exclusive place considering how Philly is so inexpensive these days, yet my Grandparents house just sold for 900+ k. Most of the houses in the area are mansions though, their house was 5 bedroom 5 bathrooms and close to 4,000 sq. feet, and thats pretty much the norm around there.

merion station is a very affluent philly suburb. it's near like drexel hill i think. it's very expensive b/c it's a very nice lil' community w/i a community, and a very short drive into the "big city" where the major jobs are.

Whoa! That's a lot of money!

I personally would like to have a small house.
2 bed rooms. 2 1/2 bathrooms.
A kitchen. A living room.
And a GINORMOUS library/ movie screening room!
And a garage.

Ok, so.. maybe that's not that small.
I'd probably need an office too...
and a third bedroom wouldn't be such a bad thing, right?
A guess a formal dining room couldn't hurt either....
:?

not to sound antisocial, but i just had this discussion tonight with my mom.

i've been hurt by so many people, and just so sick of the way people treat one another anymore, that i just want to go live far, far away in a nice quaint lil' town... where no one really bothers you, and you can just like get a job at the local library putting books on the shelves and volunteer at the hospital reading books to sick children or something... not a mall or highway for miles around... lots of farm land... doesn't matter what's inside the house as long as i have a bed & computer and it's clean (i.e. no roaches crawling around!). to me that is perfection. simplicity. no crazy hustle bustle, no "keeping up with the joneses"... just a very humble life. i never needed much, don't desire anything "material-speaking" and never really did, and just want peace and quiet. if anyone knows of this place, PM me so i can move down there ASAP. :)

HangedMan, I just want the top of a mountain, only way to get to the house is by four wheel drive. And, no neighbors for miles.

hehehe... well, strangely enough, after halloween (i see i wrote that post a few days before oct 31st), i had a major life-changing sorta moment. so right now i'm actually quite content with being more "social." so... i can deal with where i am right now... lol. but, it still would be nice to do the whole "secluded moutaintop" thing... hehe :)
