Need a spell to lose a job

Postby Eclipse2010 » Thu Dec 27, 2012 3:51 am

Okay, I'm not trying to make someone lose their job out of malice or revenge. Here's the situation as simply as I can explain it. A dear friend took a job he didn't want to take, but felt pressured to take. He doesn't want this job, but doesn't dare mess up in order to lose it. His parents are taking all his money, so the job is not benefiting him in any way. It IS messing up his chances to go to college under a tuition waiver. The job is in no way related to the career he really wants.

It would be nice if he could stand up for himself and quit. But he's too self-sacrificing to do that. He's told me that he doesn't want this job. But he doesn't know what to do to get out of it. Is there a spell to help someone lose a job when losing that job is a GOOD thing? He was hoping he'd be laid off before now, but it's not happened.

Yeah, I know most people WANT a job. It seems as if there are plenty of spells for getting a job. But how do I help someone lose a job?

How about an accommodation spell to get my into the right job and get the right person into his current job. That would be a win/win situation.

That sounds like an excellent suggestion! He and I both like win/win situations. His old job was directly related to his future career plans and had a flexible schedule working around his college schedule. If he could just get that back...I happen to know it's not filled.

Do you have or know of an accommodation spell you would be willing to share with me? I searched, but didn't find one under that name.

Thanks!

I was thinking along the lines of a combination of negativity banishing and good fortune increasing. He would need to do the negativity banishing for himself, and the good fortune increasing for the position he wants to leave. In that way, he sets both himself and the job market up for a good fit. If he just tries to do something to benefit himself, and not the colaterral players in the picture, he runs the risk of volating the threefold law, and making things worse.

I've not had the quiet and peace of mind to think thoroughly on this tonight. Perhaps later. But I feel I need to be nothing less than truthful. He is not Wiccan. In fact, he disavows any religious beliefs whatsoever. He says he does not believe in any god or goddess, in reincarnation, or any sort of afterlife.

Nevertheless, he is one of the most spiritual people I have ever met, always seeking to improve himself and to help those around him. He would _never_ do anything that was solely for his own gain. That's how he got himself into this mess--by sacrificing himself to help others who have squandered the gifts he's given them.

Perhaps he has his own natural protection against negativity. He always manages to see the bright side of things, no matter how bad it seems to get. But there's no way he'll do a spell on his own behalf. He does not know of my beliefs, for the most part.

Perhaps I need only to do a spell to help him have a backbone so he doesn't let people take advantage of him?

As I said at the beginning of this, I've not had the time and space to think it through yet. I'm still unsure how to approach this problem. One thing I know is that I needn't worry about him not taking everyone else and all the repercussions into account.

Perhaps the spell to counter negativity would be to counter his parents demanding he support them and draining him of all his energy and resources? He'll never do that for himself though. And they DO NOT NEED his support. They"re well able to take care of themselves. He is just an extra resource for them. He knows this. He simply accepts that it is his lot in life to sacrifice, they ask, so he will give.

I wouldn't even be involved in this except he confided in me as a close friend that he didn't want this job and wouldn't have taken it if he weren't pressured to do so. He left a job he liked to do something he doesn't like because it pays more money and his parents wanted money from him. He's not happy, but it's very rare for him to admit that.

So--given his unbelief and unwillingness to do any spells on his own behalf, what can I do to help him? Hence my original question--how to arrange for him to lose this job? Getting him back into the job he loved, and opening up the job he'd be leaving to someone who really needs it is a great idea! How do I bring that about without his open cooperation?

My policy is not to do a spell on someone's behalf without their knowledge and permission. You might try a negativity banishing spell for yourself, since you have a sincere connection to him. Sometimes a spell done for one's self ripples out and makes a difference for another.

Again, I think you have pointed me in the right direction. I, too, have always followed the policy of not doing a spell on behalf of someone else, not even a healing spell, without their knowledge and permission. In this case, I think you are right that banishing my own negativity would ripple out to him. I have definitely found myself becoming more negative as I have watched him losing bits of the life spark that has always made him so unique. In any case, removing my own negativity can only help.

Maybe in time, I could ask his permission to do more. At this time, I am hesitant to do so. Our debates over politics have been heated enough! He knows my beliefs differ from his, and we have left it at that. Although he has said that he would like to believe. He is just one of those people who needs empirical evidence.

I like that you are a follower of Bast, by the way. My own particular incarnation of Bast is out hunting right now.

Again, thanks for helping me sort this out and think through it. It's been a rather sticky problem for me. Thank you!
