Mormons

Discussion of Christianity and other religious systems. How can we explain our faith to Christians? How can you merge your faith in Jesus with your belief in the metaphysical?

Mormons

I had some Mormons visit me the other day. It was quite a warm day so I invited them in for some refreshments - looking around my house it didn't take them very long to figure out my witchcraft interests.

Why are those mormon boys so damn good-looking? I am yet to meet an ugly mormon.

No, no...it's all about priests wearing cassocks. Holy gods...I can't stand it. Whew. If you don't know what a cassock is...think Matrix 2 and the long outfit Neo wears in that movie. HOT!

Mormons? I'm not into crisp, white shirts and pocket protectors with tracts in them!

I really must disagree.

Give me a handsome, clean cut young man in a crisp white shirt and I'll give you three meals a day.

LOL!

Bwhahaha you guys are silly.
My fiance and I were walking down his apartment complex, and there was two normal looking guys standing there talking.

One of us turned to us as we passed and was like "Do you have a minute to discuss god?"

Casey (my fiance) goes, " Uhh aren't you guys supposed to be dressed so we can see you coming?" :D

I loved it. It was only when we got to the bottom that we saw the mormo-bikes parked. :D

Bright blessings,

Tea
.You are Beautiful.

You see, this is where I always make the same mistake. Like Jehovah's Witnesses I always invite Mormons in for a cup of tea.

I say to them I will be happy to discuss God with them just so long as they will discuss the Goddess as well.

I unintentionally upset a Jehovah's Witness calling at my door a couple of years back.

They came firing questions at me as soon as I opened the door.
I happened to bring into the conversation something about science and scientists. To which they told me all Scientists are evil..
This took me back a little bit, but with a lovely smile I informed them that my father is a scientst does that mean he is evil?

They stammered and changed the subject which got round to other life forms like animals.
They told me that animals don't have souls. I said that that meant we did not have a soul either because we too are a type of animal.... (ROFL)

They decided to leave at this point.
My neighbour who they visited next told me later that on their list of houses to call at, my house number had a thick red X through it...

Gotta love those guys :D

I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face if i said that to them. I would've been rolling on the floor and in need of a new spleen because mine would've ruptured from all of the laughter.

A few ago I had a group of JW's visit me every Sunday. They used to come in and we all would chat about various things.
After a few weeks they stopped coming and I wondered why because I really did used to enjoy their visits.
Anyway, it was months later of saw one of the women of the group while I was out shopping and I had to ask her why she and her friends had stopped coming to my house.
She informed me that my house had been 'black-listed' because of my associations with witchcraft.

All I ever did was offer them tea and sandwiches.
