Mistreated Child

Post by Moonlit Orchid »

I have a 9y old disabled child. His school keeps withholding services and mistreats him. (ie: watch him eat spoiled yogurt and have the nerve to tell me they did that to him. making him tell people how bad he is etc). I've gone through all the appropriate channels (child services, dept of ed, etc) and all that's ever done is the school has to make a statement of good intent or have a teacher take a class. But, it always continues. Last year my little boy was on a suicide watch because of these people! This year there is an entire new staff but the same things are happening again. We just sold our home and took a loss to get away from this. But, there are delays until closing and we don't know how long we're going to be here. Now, becoming a witch has been a lifetime evolutionary process but, I've only just accepted myself a few weeks ago. As a baby witch I'm concerned about choosing the best spell for this situation. I've decided to put my rage as a mother aside and hold on to the reed and the law of three. Do I do protection spell alone or do also do a banishing spell? Is there something like a 'I'm rubber your glue, everything you do bounces off of me and sticks to you' kind of spell out there? Can I do something like a 'Witch's Bottle' on behalf of my son? How do I make these people do good by my son without messing with their free will? How do I handle an entire organization of people and not just one individual? I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

First make sure that the BOE and child services are informed, then see if there is a service for disabled/mentally handicapped children and get them informed about what is going on. This is unsat and should not be tolerated, imho(in my humble opinion) they should have been shut down after the third complaint.

I would look these up.
•The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) (1975)
•Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
•The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (1990).

There are channels to go through to get help with the staff and school. Check with local agencies who work with kids like parents as teachers. I would also consider an attorney just for a consult. I would do a protection or other type spell just for good measure and peace of mind. Any would do charm a piece of jewelry or a bottle spell. Whatever you think will be best. I wish you luck. We pulled our son out of public school due to staff problems.

We've been involving Child Protective Services, Office of Civil Rights, Dept of Education, Advocacy groups, and got an attorney. These agencies have gotten involved but have not been nearly as effective as I would have hoped. It really is amazing what a school can get away with. ie: my child was harmed when the teacher physically held him down because he was walking away while she was speaking. Child Services said because there was no visible mark, even though the incident was documented they said, 'This is a school matter. It's up to them how to handle the children'. O M G! That's why I was looking for a spell - because I've exhausted everything in the natural realm. I do appreciate all of disability information and your support. We'll be out of this school system soon enough. I feel bad for the children that will remain. I like the idea of a charm. I think I'll be off to the craft store soon.

I have a few points to make:
1) Rede (not reed) means "to guide" and what it contains are not rules, but guidelines. This includes "harm none". In actual truth, there is no way to do an action that affects someone and not bring harm. Helping one person will inadvertently harm another. This line's part in the Rede is recognized as being there to remind us to know the harm that will result from our actions and to know that the energy you will send out will return back to you even stronger (x3 is recognized as an approximation). Therefore, doing magick with malicious intent or for malicious reasons are not advised.
2) It is considered bad ethics to work magick for someone else without their permission. I know this is for your son, but it would do well to know this.
3) A witches bottle would involve his participation for the way it's created.

That said, you could cast a return to sender spell around him. However, this seems like it's something that, unfortunately, should be tackled with normal actions. This will prove difficult to do because teachers are really hard to fire, thanks to the union. The best option is to remove yourself, or in this case your son, from the equation by finding another school, or even homeschooling.

I appreciate your guidance Roseonfire. This situation has apparently resolved itself. The principal has had a sudden change of heart concerning the way the school should handle their disabled. All the paperwork he has sent out makes it appear sincere along with my son's sudden change in attitude about going there. Plus, it looks like my son will be in a new school in a few weeks anyways. I performed no spells. I only meditated on positive outcomes. I don't know if that had anything to do with it or the principal decided it was in his best interest if he wanted to keep his job. But, I will keep your words in mind for future needs. I appreciate guidance and correction from those with more experience and knowledge than myself. Thank you.

Meditation is one of the forms that can be used for casting magick.

I'm glad everything is working out!

I didn't know that Roseonfire. I still have that 'newbie' smell! - lol. I'll be sure to meditate on everything in the future before acting. Not only do I begin to get a better understand and greater peace but, apparently positive results. Yipee!

It deals in the threefold return, which is based on the Law of Attraction. How it works with magick is that the energy you send out originates within you (and this applies to sending out energy by any means, not just magick) and so has a stronger "charge" on you. This charge will, by the Law of Attraction, call things to you of the same charge. When you meditate for things like clarity, relaxation and peace, ect., you charge yourself with what you are meditating on in the same way as casting a spell. And if you meditate on achieving and end result outside of yourself, you can use the energy you use in meditation for casting a spell.

It broke my heart to read this. My daughter is the same age and disabled (autism). She can't speak so can't tell me what happens to her. I've been trying to talk my husband into letting me home school our children, but he hasn't agreed yet.

I agree with positive energy. It's hard, but think of it this way: Those horrible people (I can't BELIEVE they'd to that to a disadvantaged [or any!] child. It makes me sick) - those horrible people do horrible things. Well, if you cast a spell on them using positive energy, you could have the positive energy shape them into better people. If the positive energy takes hold around them, they won't be horrible anymore, they'll be good people and they won't harm your or anyone else's child anymore. They'll be good to them.

You could absolutely make a witch's bottle for your child. They are very, very powerful. You can look up herbs, aromas, etcetera to do with protection and create a protection bottle, or perhaps you could create a protection amulet or pouch for your child to carry.

I hope that this works out, and I apologize for what the school is doing to your child.

Blessed Be, dear. <3 )0(

Thank you mist. It's hard not to let your emotions run wild when your child is mistreated. My oldest whom I've been talking about is emotionally disabled. This is not easily understood by a lot of people. I also have a little one who may be autistic. Staying positive has proven more challenging than I imagined. We discussed homeschooling but it wouldn't fit our situation. Ask some specialists in your area for recommendations for schools. That's what we did. We had several doctors tell us about particular school system. We sold our house and are moving there in a couple of weeks. Also, reading parent reviews on schools online is very helpful in helping to make a choice. The people here have been such a blessing. I thank you and everyone who has helped me stay positive.

Miss Pixie- thank you. I am in the process of getting a protection amulet ready. My son will not wear anything like that for long. He will take it off and leave it somewhere. So, I think I'll sew it into the lining of his book bag which he keeps with him all day at school. I understand concerns for getting permission to do spells but I think there is some wiggle room for young children who couldn't make a decision. I as a parent am responsible for making decisions for my children that involve their safety all of the time. I don't see why it should be any different with this. If he was older and/or able to make this choice that would be different. I will remain positive though. Thank you for your support and advice.
