Man of War

Postby GroundedDancer » Sun Apr 15, 2018 9:23 am

So, I was dreaming about planting various types of herbs. Most were normal like Hibiscus, but then there was one that was strange. I was planting little wood chips with hieroglyphic type (or indigenous, it was very picture-as-words) drawings. I don't remember what the pictures looked like, but for some reason I was calling it Man of War. I know there is an animal with this name, but I doubt there is a plant?

I'm just word-associating but when I'd read your post High John the Conqueror root came to mind.

Also there is a daylily called Abilene Man Of War

Maddox, 2014 - Bloom 6" Height 28" - early season & rebloom - Ivory base color, green throat, red eye, red and gold edges - 17 buds on 3 branches - Semi-evergreen - Tetraploid
