My speed is the old, B&W "The Mummy" with Boris Korloff & definitly not the remake. When archeologists say they've found Osiris's tomb ... Well ... You do the math.

Brendan Fraser is pretty dreamy in the 90's version though. smileylove

So you guys mostly recommend Suspiria? Gonna give it a shot then...

I'd like to ask if you happen to know some films with a classical plot where an exorcist from afar is invited to some remote mansion to help the landlord get rid of possession and the similar.
If there would be one to take place in a Victorian era mansion, that would be delightful.

I've seen some less known, each beautiful in something little:

The Skeleton Key
The Laplace's Demon
The Judas Ghost - do you recognise the circle they constructed in it?

I love horror movies.

Any classic Dracula, mummy, werewolf film.
Some of the recent ones and remakes.

Hellraiser
Elm Street
Friday the 13th
Child’s Play
Halloween old and new
Beam Stoker’s Dracula
John Carpenter’s Vampires
The Thing and the prequel
Etc

I also like some low budget classics.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
The Toxic Avenger
C.H.U.D.
The Stuff
Creepshow
Etc

Just watched Apostle on Netflix. I was expecting more but it was a good movie anyway.

Yes, I like horror movies. The problem is that many films of the genre play on gory scenes when that's not what I'm looking for. Or sometimes we fall into crazy scenes that it's almost a horror comedy (memorable memory of the goat possessed in Drag Me To Hell, I was in What the f*ck mode? )

In the cult movies for me there is IT adapted from Stephen King's novel, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Child's Play but the old versions because the new ones also tend to want to play on black humour and it becomes ridiculous.
