Homemade candles

Postby __Oracle__ » Mon Dec 16, 2013 4:59 pm

I love candles and I got bored this weekend and decided to make my own. I seen a few tutorials online and picked up a few things from the craft store. Image .The dark purple one I made for my mother in law for Christmas . They are both lavender scented. I made myself one and placed a few herbs inside mine to burn for Hecate. I would eventually love to make my own candles for spells. Thought I'd share :-)

Thank you ! . I hope she enjoys it. Lavender can be very soothing. That is a great idea , I've never thought of it that way.

Nice candles, by the way.

That is a great idea since i have a lot of extra candle wax around from other candles. I loveeeeeeee sweet tea. I have never had Chic-fil-a before . But I am obsessed with sweet tea, I mainly make my own. But I load up on Mc Donalds sweet tea a lot .

Did you get supplies at Hobby Lobby? Been looking to try this myself but have yet to investigate what's available.

Yes I did :-) It is the only place locally that I have found supplies at. I do wish their oils selection was bigger. But you can use any essential oil you may have on hand. Their is a pagan store a little further down the road i believe it is called mystic myths, that I might check out soon . It is the only pagan store I've seen since I've been in Kansas.

I like the shape of the jar on the left. They're both so pretty.
