Has anyone used them before? I found my little stash of herkimers the other day; I'm very excited to try using them with dreams.

I've used them before, and am using a few right now in a truth/clarity spell. They're a wonderful little stone, and I enjoyed going through the work to find them when I went to the Herkimer Diamond Mine in NY. Good luck with your efforts

I dug mine up there too! They are by no means perfect, but they mean more to me having had to free them from the rock myself. I think I'll try them on Imbolc, see if I can't meet up with my totem guide again.

Interesting that you would choose Imbolc to try them out In our tradition we use herkimers for dedication to the group. It symbolizes the new light and the new spark within...the clarity to be gained, and the "seed" of personal growth potential. We dedicate folks at Imbolc, so hummm ...there you are drawn to use them at that time!!! I think they would be excellent for dream work, have you tried them for this,?.. and have you had great results? Do let us know...Blessings, Firebird

Fascinating! Sort of like the Ace of Wands in a tarot deck then. Which makes sense--in the days from Imbolc to the full moon, I had this incredible burst of creativity (I hope it lasts!).

The troubles of living in a dorm (and adjusting to my new semester sleep schedule): I've had trouble remembering my dreams fully the last few days although there was one dream where I was doing a ceremony before the Norse and Egyptian gods and was using runes (which I've never used nor owned before. I suppose I should go shopping). Perhaps I have members of my pantheon among them?

I have used them in a different sense of the word dream, with I think great results! Rather than sleeping dreams, I did a spell to accomplish my dreams with the herkimers and I feel I'm on my way with that. I also ended up drawing two stones out of my pack that seemed to call to me, a bloodstone and an yet unidentified very bold blue stone. Hmm...
