Ok so I was doing a spell for a friend of mine to send some luck his way (with his permission, of course). It involved a small blue candle; I cast my circle, lit the candle in a small glass candlestick, thanked the goddess and god, and closed my circle, leaving the candle to burn down. Now, when I lit the candle, it took a while to light, which I thought was odd but I thought it was probably the lighter, I've been having problems with the lighter before this. I've had this particular candlestick for about seven months, and I've let candles burn down in it before, but this night as the candle got down to the last, the candlestick broke clean in half. I didn't leave it near a cold window where it would be a temperature change issue, and I've never had problems with it before; I always cleanse it after each use. Is this a bad omen or am I overlooking things?
