CHRISTIAN WITCH IDEAS:
If you think of everything, including spirits such as Jesus Christ, as energy, then it's quite possible to practice witchcraft and also pray to Jesus. Although I don't practice witchcraft very much anymore, I do find myself praying to Jesus (and the Angels, Spirit Guides, God, Goddess, and my Higher Self) when I really want help with something. I figure that they are all powerful and they all have the ablitiy to help so I don't limit myself to just one deity.
Many people who have been raised Christian but then converted to paganism/witchcraft, find that it has become a habit for them to pray to Jesus when they need something, and it's not something they particularly want to give up. So, since they obviously don't believe in the Bible, or they wouldn't be practicing witchcraft in the first place, it's easy to see how they can be a witch AND believe in Jesus Christ. And since believing in Jesus Christ is technically what makes you Christian, there is actually no need to believe in the entire Bible. (Actually, I think Jesus may tell you to believe in the Bible, but that was also before it was edited beyond all recognition, so who knows what it said originally?)
I used to have a lot of trouble understanding the term "Christian Witch" and I would argue with people about how you couldn't actually be a Christian Witch due to the Bible saying that witchcraft was wrong. But, the more I opened my eyes and my mind, the more I was able to see that you can pretty much be ANYTHING that you want in this world. It doesn't matter what other people believe or what the Bible says. If you feel an affinity with Jesus, then worship Jesus! That doesn't mean you have to believe in the Bible and follow everything it says to do. Even Christians don't actually follow the Bible (how many Christian women do you know that cover their heads?)
Want to practice witchcraft and pray to Jesus at the same time? Who is going to stop you? It may be confusing to some people but it's not going to stop you from actually doing that if that's what you desire.
I used to not understand how gay people could be Christian. Nearly all of the gay people I had ever met were Christian. I couldn't comprehend how they would want to be involved in a religion that despised them. But now I can see that it's simple to understand... They were raised Christian. They found out that they were gay. That didn't change the fact that they felt a connection to Jesus Christ. It's difficult to change habits and beliefs that have been ingrained since you were a child.
1. Thou Shalt have no Gods before me. --This is easy. I believe there are many God's and Goddesses and Only one is the all powerful creator of everything. He created man and woman in his likeness saying to me that "God" is a divine combination of the male and female. I also believe he sent his son so save us. To show how much he loves us and that there are so many likenesses between a god and a man. The oldest religions are likely the truest religions. But I believe that a god can chose to change some things as time goes on. One has to be cautious though in determining what has been changed by the Gods and what has been change by corrupt men.
2. The bible says that the soul will live once on earth and then be delivered to its final resting place in heaven or hell. There are plenty of Christian religions that do not even believe in hell. How can one believe that this all powerful loving father who loves us as his children would burn us for all eternity because we did something he didn't want us to. I completely disagree with this and have prayed and contemplated reincarnation many times. I believe its real. I remember my past lives. I have never seen hell, but if its real, I believe its a product of the tortured mind and one can get out of it (like in Buddhist teachings of the hell realm where you are only there until you realize it and then you can do good things to return to the bardow(the place between life and rebirth)).
3. One shall not permit a witch to live was already address but I would like to elaborate on it. In about 300 a.d. The christian religion was losing, so to speak, to Paganism so the King rewrote the scrolls that were written by Jesus disciples. He picked the ones that he wanted and changed the words to suit him because the kingdom needed money. Everyone was so afraid of burning in hell for all eternity that they did whatever they were told to avoid it. The origin of Confession in the Catholic church simply came from needing money, but then they payed the church to be free of sin instead of saying "Hail Mary".
So basically the bible we have to read is not what was written originally. There is rumored to be a gospel according to Mary Magdalene who is a very controversial person. She may have been the bride of Christ. She may have bared a child who was part god and part man. And they may have hidden this from everyone in order to protect the bloodline of Christ. There are many many gospels that are not included in the bible that are locked away somewhere in the Vatican. And unless you speak Aramaic and Ancient Hebrew (which only a handful of people do) you have to go with your instincts on what you feel is right and wrong.
Because of this I believe that we all just have to do what feels right in our hearts. Paying a church to tell me what I should and should not do does not feel right to me. It does not matter how much money we give to the church, god will never have it, nor does he have a use for it. There are other ways we can do good in this world than pay for elaborate temples to be built. I do not consider myself a religious person. I believe that has to be some truth to most all religion that has been around for thousands of years. I feel comfortable combining the teachings of all to find peace on earth and reach enlightenment.

Planetary Correspondences
Here are the weekly planetary correspondences. You can use these to determine which days of the week you may have better luck with the spells you are casting.
Monday: The Moon; best for emotionally based spellwork, such us attracting confidence and intuition, protection spells, clairvoyance etc..
Tuesday: Mars; great for spells to inspire passion and energy such as a spell to boost confidence. Mars is a warrior, so if you need a spiritual battle, this is the day for it. Tuesday is also a good day for protection spells.
Wednesday: Mercury; Great for communication (worldly or otherwise). Good for spells involving the granting of information. Like Willow in Buffy when she says "Reveal!"
Thursday: Jupiter; probably the best day for spell work as Jupiter is so benevolent and loves to give. All prosperity spells or luck and success spells should be done on this day (be sure to keep it with the waxing moon).
Friday: Venus. . .ahhh, sweet love. This is a day for love spells and also a good day to offer your love to the gods/goddesses of choice. As the Cure say, "Friday, I'm in Love!"
Saturday: Saturn. A restrictive energy. Good for banishing spells and ridding old energies. Binding spells are also potent on this day. Also good for focusing and developing patience (something a lot of witches don't have). Typically, I do not do spells on Saturdays unless it is to get rid of unwanted energies or desires.
Sunday: The Sun; Truth in all matters. The sun is great for truth spells and generating warmth in your heart. If you feel that you are frigid inside and holding tons of resentment, use the Sun energy on Sundays to shine through a cloudy heart.
HOW TO CAST CIRLE
Armed with the salt and starting in the north of your working area, cast a circle by making a salt circle. Cast is clockwise (doesil) while saying:
'I cast this circle to protect me from bane.
I cast this circle to contain my energy until it is open.
The circle is strong and will hold true.'
SPELLS AND RETUALS
Spell to Stop an Argument
A spell to stop an argument between you and another or to change their feelings of aggravation...................
YOU WILL NEED:
1 glass plate - purple in color. (deep purple if possible)
1 picture of the person. (Polaroid is best but not necessary)
Place the picture face down on the plate for no more than 15 minutes at a time. If you don't have a Polaroid, you need to have the negative of the picture handy, so you'll know where it is.
The person will either call or come by with offers of apology in no more than 24 hours. If they do not, do a treatment again for no more than 15 minutes. If by the 3rd treatment you still haven't heard from them try to give them a call or go see them because their feelings will have changed.
Scullcap: To inspire others to give you money, place some scullcap in a small saucer and moisten it with money mist, or money drawing oil. Get a ball of green cord or yarn and wind it around your "nest egg" of scullcap and oil, winding until the herb is completely covered and secure. Tie the cord so that the ball will not unwind and hang above the doorway. All those who enter will become possessed with an unreasonable desire to bring gifts and money to your home. Anoint the ball every seventh day with a few drops of the oil to preserve it's powers.
Smartweed: To find money, one should make a conjure bag containing a magnetic horseshoe, and a lodestone to attract and draw wealth to you, and some smartweed to to enable you to see how to capture it and hold it without being led astray by unprofitable distractions or foolish delays. Feed your money bag with a sprinkle of Gold magnetic sand every third day until you find the amount you need.
Lavender: A lucky money spell is made by placing in a conjure bag seven pieces of money, each different, such as a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, a half dollar, $1.00 bill, and $5.00 bill, all of which are sprinkled liberally with lavender. Take the bag with you for seven days and your money should multiply seven times (this would give you $41.46 above your original investment ) or, in some instances if the gods are smiling in your direction, seven times seven! This would result in a tidy sum of $338.50 and seems well worth trying for!
Lucky Hand Root: To get and hold a job, always carry a lucky hand root on your person. Use lucky nine oil on your wrists each day for nine days, and burn some John the Conqueror incense each night. These roots bring luck in all undertakings and no conjure bag would be considered complete without one. The hands are usually imperfect, but this does not affect their value as a talisman. The ones which are formed so that all five fingers are distinguishable are very rare and therefore extremely expensive.
Yellow Dock: Brew a tea with a spoonful of this herb to a cup of water, strain, and use to wash door knobs at your place of business to draw customers, or at home to attract good fortune.
Buffalo Herb: A long-lived belief is that the possessor of this gains courage he never had before and a strength beyond his expectations. Carry it in a small red bag and anoint the bag every seventh day with Master oil.
Vervain: For everlasting youth, this spell must be performed when the moon is full.. Go outdoors and light one black candle. Take a chalice of water to which you add salt, and two spoonfuls of Vervain. Mix thoroughly and dip into this water a piece of petrified wood. Pass the rock through the flame of the candle and chant:

Hear me as my song is sung,
Age is not my heart's desire,
It is youth to which I aspire,
Candle, herb, rock, water, salt
Repeat the ritual and chant seven times. As each chant is said, touch the rock in turn to first one foot, one hand, one shoulder, crown of the head, and then down the other side of the body to shoulder, hand and foot. When the spell is finished, take the rock immediately to the nearest river, beach or stream and throw it in.

You will need:
• 1 small, handheld mirror
• 3 candles
• Rose oil
• Patchouli incense
• A little privacy
Select one color for the strongest effect, or mix and match to get a bit of each:
• Red if you are going for sex appeal
• Silver if you want to be the center of attention and display star-quality charisma
• Orange if you are going for general attractiveness and likeability.
The ritual:
On a night when the moon is full, find a secluded outdoor spot. Light your incense and your three candles. Disrobe and anoint the parts of your body you would like to change with the rose oil. For example, if you think your feet are too big, anoint the tops of each foot. If you are going for an all over make-over, then anoint your forehead, your breast bone, the center of your belly, each wrist and behind each knee. Pass the mirror through the smoke of the incense, then raise it over your head, reflective surface facing the moon.
Recite:
Wood and Wind, Ember and Mist
Grant your blessed child's wish
Sacred Mother charge this mirror
Let your light make beauty clearer
Wrap it in your gentle glow
So that tis all it ever shows.
Lower the mirror and gaze into it. Visualize the way you wish to look, and how you want others to see and react to you. Repeat the following:
As a blossom in your glade
Let my beauty never fade.
Now, use the mirror's reflective surface to shine the moonlight on the place(s) you would like to make more pleasing to the eye. When you are done, wrap the mirror in a dark cloth and keep it safe. If the mirror is ever broken, so also will be the spell. Snuff the candles, dress and let the incense burn out.
For an extra boost, like before a big date, business meeting or audition, anoint yourself again with rose oil and spend 10 minutes gazing into the mirror. While doing so, focus on the things you find attractive about yourself and the things you want others to see when they look at you.
Commitment Spell
"Uniting Ladder" - A Love Binding Spell for a New Love, or to Have an Old Love Return to You

This is a love binding spell for a new love, or to have an old love return to you. Love spells to get a person to commit are rare. Many love spells will provide an obsessed partner, but that isn't exactly commitment. This commitment spell is extremely manipulative and most Witches would consider it black magick and against the Wiccan Rede. You've been warned.
I would recommend practicing relationship and communication skills, and gaining the trust of your desired one by digging deep into their emotions and listening carefully whenever they talk. Find out what makes them tick and see if you are compatible.
If you still wish to know the binding commitment spell, here it is. Your decision to use it is your responsibility alone.
Important note: It is not recommended that you tell your target that this working has been done or that a spell has been cast on them. The target will become your enemy if this happens.
Components Needed:
• A string or thread from the target's clothing about 9 (or preferably more) inches long.
• A string from your clothing of the same length
• A Red Candle (any type)
• A tall red taper candle
• A drop of the person's scent (this would be their favorite cologne/perfume, aftershave, shampoo, sweat, whatever they smell like the most)
• Dried rose petals
• Vanilla extract, about 1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce)
• A rose quartz (washed in hot soapy water and rinsed well)
• 1 ounce of rum
• 2 cups of fresh water (spring water, rain water, collected dew, distilled water, whatever you prefer)
• Salt (any type)
• Incense (any type but musk or vanilla are especially appropriate)
• Glass vial or potion bottle
Maintain focus on your target coming to you in love during the entire working and as often as you can until the spell is fulfilled.
Potion Preparation: Bring the fresh water to a boil for 5 minutes. Turn down the heat very low so the mixture stays warm but does not boil. add the rose petals while saying:
"'Dancing on the wind I go,
to aid ________'s love to flow.
His/her love will now fully bloom.
His/her desire for me will come soon!"
Reconfirm your focus, remove the mixture from the stove. Add a pinch of salt while saying:
'No one may interfere magickally,
this spell can only be undone by me.'
Reconfirm your focus; add the ounce of rum while saying:
'Drunk with love he/she will come to me,
no other love will he/she see.
Our love will grow in purity,
and once it is true, this spell is set free.'
Let the mixture cool and put it in a nice glass bottle with the rose quartz. This should be a bottle that has an appealing shape and is worthy of containing such a potion. (Do not use a bottle that used to contain something strong smelling like cologne) Now comes the actual spell casting, so far you have completed the potion, which is an ingredient of the actual spell.

Timing:
This part of the working should start about 15 minutes before sunrise on a Friday. It should be concluded by 1 hour after sunrise so make sure you know it from start to finish in your mind. Check your local weather station for exact sunrise times.
Begin:
Clear an open area that you can work in and are comfortable in, this should be approximately a 6-foot diameter space. You should not feel cramped. Find some sort of table with at least 1-foot of top surface space. Place the table in the center of the area you have cleared and assemble the two candles, the strings, the potion, a bowl of salt, incense, target's scent (cologne, etc)

Light the red candle and facing south say:
'Burning passion and desire,

Place the candle on the table, pick up the taper candle and anoint it with the target's scent. With the cologne or whatever on your index finger, start in the middle of the candle and move down. Go all around the candles bottom half only rubbing in downward strokes. Now start in the middle again and rub up to the wick all around the candle only in upward strokes. Focus on your target coming to you in love.
Take both strings, hold them together and tie a knot at one end while focusing and saying: (fill in the blank with the name of the person you desire.)
"I bind this knot and bring _____'s love."
Tie another knot at the opposite end of the parallel strings while saying:
"I bind this knot and bring _____'s desire."
Tie another knot near the first one on the opposite side:
"I bind this knot and bring _____'s faithfulness."
Tie another knot next to the second one you tied:
"I bind ______'s love to me."
Another next to the third one you tied:
"Come to me, so mote it be!"
Wrap the cord around the anointed taper at the base and light it while saying:
"The fire of love burns in his/her heart!"
Light the while saying:
"This smoke does hereby evoke, his/her commitment to me that he/she cannot revoke!"
Sit and focus on your goal, you may wish to chant the following:
"______ to me, so mote it be."
After a few minutes, pick up the red candle and let three drops of wax fall on the bottle of potion (not in it, just on the lid or glass) and say:
"This spell is sealed!"
Put down the candle, remove the knotted cord, open the potion and dip the cord into it once while saying:
"I infuse this cord,
the spell is stored.
So long as knots remain,
his/her love for me will never wane."
Recap the potion and hold it above the incense so that smoke surrounds it. Turn it so the smoke reaches all sides and say:
"This smoke seals his/her love for me!"
Repeat the 'smudging' with incense for the knotted core and say:
"His/her love is bound!"
Place all items back on the table and go around the circle counterclockwise (widdershins) while saying:
"The circle is open,
the spell is released.
His/her love for me,
will never cease!"
Take the potion outside so that sunlight will infuse it. Set it in the sun for as long as remains of the hour past sunrise. Take the potion in and store it in a safe space. Each day place a drop of the potion on your forehead, each breast and on your genital area (on the hair is safest)- 4 drops total. Carry the cord with you at all times and keep it near you when you sleep. Do not let anyone else see it. You can optionally store the cord in a safe space.
Whenever the opportunity arises, sneak a FEW, 3 is best, drops of the potion is food or drink that your target will consume.
This will work, but when is hard to determine as it depends on many factors, among them, your personal power and confidence, timing, the target's will, etc.
Spell To Banish Jealousy
You will need the following items:
• A candle in your favorite color
• A green candle
• A small knife
• Cinnamon joss sticks
• Cinnamon essential oil
• Hyssop herb
The timing of this spell should also be considered as it forms part of the ingredients. Perform the spell during the dark moon.
1. Have a purifying hyssop bath to wash away negativity, then cast a magick circle.
Starting in the east, walk around the room clockwise with a cinnamon joss stick in your right hand. Visualize a blue sphere surrounding your home.
2. Step into the circle. Using the knife, etch your name on the candle chosen to represent yourself, and the jealous person's name on the green candle. Start so the name begins nearest the wick and goes down the candle.
3.Anoint your candle with cinnamon oil. Light it saying:
"It is my will to banish jealousy from my life."
Now anoint the green candle and say:
"This candle represents a jealous person who will trouble me no more."
4. Light the green candle and move it out of the room towards the front door, saying:
"I banish envy out of the door. May your spirit grow past petty spite, to fill your soul with love and light."
Allow the candle to burn down to the wick.
5. Bind your spell by imagining a blue ribbon of energy and tie a knot with this around your candle, saying:
"I call on Earth to bind this spell, Air to speed its travel well, Fire bring spirit from above, Water fill this spell with love. This spell bound around shall be, to cause no harm nor return on me. As I do will So Mote It Be."
6. Thank the elements, saying:
"Earth, Water, Fire, Air, leave this circle to my care. Go with my thanks and with my love."
Now walk around the room anticlockwise with a cinnamon joss stick, seeing the blue circle of flames fading away.

Truth spell

• Thyme
• A red candle
• An herb dish
Pour the Thyme into the herb dish and say:
"Purification I do conjure
So that thoughts be spoke,

Light the candle and say:

To Rekindle Love
Items Needed:
Human figure candle
Tonka beans (or regular dry beans will do!)
Small heat resistant bowl or container
On a Tuesday or Friday night, light the human figure candle that has been consecrated (blessed - say a pray over it) and the name of your beloved is etched on it. Place the beans in a small resistant bowl/container and place over high heat on your stove. As the beans begin to jump around - speak forth your desire for your beloved lover to "jump" and reawaken for you! Do this for three nights in a row.
Binding Love Spell

You'll need:
• A yard of red ribbon
• 2 photos (yours and your beloved's)
• A needle or sharp object to poke holes into the photos
Poke holes in the pictures then sew them together chanting your desire.
Warning! Remember, as with all binding spells, you are also binding yourself to the other person - think before you do it! Binding spells have a tendency to become really complicated! You might be binding yourself to a cheat, lazy bum, or serial killer - it could happen!
Also, keep in mind that attempting to force another to conform to your will is highly immoral. In addition, it doesn't always work. Don't write to ask me what you did wrong. If the spell didn't work then your relationship simply wasn't meant to be. (Actually the clue that your relationship wasn't meant to be was given to you when you got dumped.)
Simple Love Spell
This spell really does work. I have used it and actually I met my husband just a few weeks after I performed it. It is very specific and must be followed exactly.

• 1 sheet of lined paper
• 1 Red pen or marker
• 1 letter envelope

Place in a safe place. NEVER open it again, if you do this will break the spell.

Perfect Mate Love Spell
This love spell is intended to attract the perfect mate and partner. In the circle, ground and center. Meditate on all the preconceived ideas you have about the perfect partner.
Maybe you have a particular candidate in mind for romance. Release the thought of that person (it would be most unethical to work magick to make a certain person love you; this would violate their free will, and put you in jeopardy by The Law of Return). Release all notions of what your perfect lover will look like. These are externals, and if you cling to them then you run the risk of overlooking your ideal mate simply because your conscious mind was focused on superficialities.
Equipment Needed:
Two candles: One white, One in your favorite color

A rose colored altar cloth

Timing:
This love spell can be performed at any time. I usually find that the evening is the best. When your mind is clear and open, hold the candle of your favorite color: this represents you. Meditate, then speak aloud all the qualities and energies you are willing to bring to an intimate relationship. Replace that candle on the altar, and pick up the white one. When you are finished, read over what you wrote and confirm that everything you want to say is included. When you are certain it is as you wish, spend some time meditating on your goal while you light your ritual fire or the charcoal. When you get "that feeling" (the one when you know everything is right, your will is focused, you know it is certain, you know the feeling...) prepare to begin the physical aspect of the ritual. When the fire has become coals, or the charcoal is glowing happily, read aloud your writing, repeating it 3 times. Get a white candle that will burn down in the amount of time you have to watch it burn down completely. You will have to inscribe it (see below), so it should be bigger than a birthday candle, and you will also have to watch it burn down to nothing, so it should not be a long-burning or large candle. On the 4th day, start at Noon. Write both of your names on the 2nd paper as before, but this time use black ink. Carve and dress the Pink Candle as before and name the two sides as before, saying:

Then place the candle against your bare body, between your breasts if you are a woman, or at heart-level if you are a man, saying:

Oh, don't worry, I won't tell anyone you're decimating a twelve dollar hanger for a success spell. You have to spend money to make money, don't you? Now, don't worry if you don't have the marigold petals. They're a nice touch, but not necessarily vital.
Get a crisp new one-dollar bill. I like crisp money! I like all money, even that odd stuff from... oh, forget it. You probably aren't interested in how I bought my way out of being catapulted into space along with an azalea bush and a ferret.
Carve a rune on your piece of cedar. You can draw the rune on your cedar with olive oil, if you have to. It's just more "special" if you carve it in. Really! Would I lie to you? Of course not, dear heart. Now carve carefully.... This particular talisman doesn't require blood and we don't want you hurt! Carve this rune on your chunk of cedar.
Fill your pouch. Put the carved chunk of cedar, the marigold petals (they're optional -- remember?) The crisp one-dollar bill in the pouch, Tie the top with a piece of green or gold string. Yes, of course yarn will work!
Are you ready for the best part? Go outside and hold your pouch up toward the sun and say,
"I call thee, Sun, to bring your power to me and infuse this Talisman with success and riches! So Mote It Be!"
Now, lay your pouch where it will absorb the sun's rays and leave it there for at least an hour.
Sit around on a lawn chair and eat a couple of Moon Pies or sip a double chocolate malt. Again, this part is optional.... The sitting and sipping, that is. You have to leave your pouch in the sun, of course. Hum the theme from Dallas. (Optional) Paint your fingernails with alternating gold and cerulean stripes. (This, too, is optional.)

You'll need at least one candle in the color you want to change your eyes to. You also need a pentacle. You can draw a pentacle if you don't have one. A pentacle is a star inside of a circle (see example below. All the fuzzy/glowy stuff is not necessary.)
Light the candle(s) and sit in front of it/them and chant the following three or more times:
"One, two, three, eyes change for me,
One, two, three (color you have now) to (new color) I see."
Take a deep cleansing breath while you envision yourself with the new eye color, then chant this three or more times:

What you need: 2 apples, a knife.
Get an apple and cut it in half horizontally across the middle. Once you cut it you will see a five pointed star.
Rub one half of the apple over your face or the affected area. Say this:
"Apple, sacred fruit of the Goddess, With this gift, I do caress
The pimple that brought me shame. I banish this zit in your name."
Get another apple and cut it vertically from top to bottom. Rub one half of this over your face or affected area as well. Say this:
"I love and accept myself as I am today. Clear skin I summon to come my way. By My Will so Mote It Be Three times three times three."
Bury the first apple by a tree, bush or flower that is OUTSIDE. Bury the second apple by water. If you can't find a place like this, just bury it anywhere and pour water over it.
Spell for Physical Body Change
Requires: Small piece of paper, Quartz crystal, Some string
Procedure: Take the small piece of paper and write your name on it. Draw on it what body or body part you want changed and what you want it to look like. The picture could show the entire body or just the part.
Now hold the paper in your hands and imagine the body/part changing from what it looks like now to what you want it to look like.
Then fold it up any way you like and tie it to the crystal. Then once more visualize the body part changing.
Put it away and every evening until the body is changed take it out and visualize it changing again.
When the change is done tear the paper up and scatter it to the wind.
This spell is very good for changing aspects you don't like. It took a few days to see results so don't expect an over nighter

• one bead from a necklace you own (preferably a pearl--faux or real)
• a small patch of black cloth
• some string for tying
Incantation:
"I cast a spell asking <insert type of spell here>, I now ask the favor of having the spell removed. I understand to take back a spell means giving up something of my own to show my spirit is true and my intentions are good. I give this pearl/bead from a necklace I own. I transfer the spell into the <pearl or bead> and render the spell dormant. No harm may come from the cancellation of this spell. No further power shall it have. This is my will - so mote it be."
Place the pearl/bead in the black cloth - add your angelica herbs. Tie the cloth up tightly with the string, wrapping the pearl/bead in the cloth. Dribble a bit of wax from the candles on the knot you tie. Then throw the small package away, far from your home.

Purification Spell (To Break a Curse)
This is a "heavy-duty" purification spell.
On the night after the full moon and just before bed, light 13 candles, preferably white. Fill the tub up with hot water (as hot as you can stand to sit in). Add 1 cup sea salt, 1 tablespoon sage, 1 tablespoon lavender and 1 tablespoon chamomile. Turn off the water and let the bath steep in the herbs. Kneel or sit in front of the tub, in the nude, and repeat this incantation:

By the light of the full moon's wane
Cleanse my soul of taint and stain
Let now my hurtful spell reverse
And lift from me this vicious curse

Enter the bath and let the water cleanse away the effects of the curse. Use your hands to gather up the water and pour it 3 times of your head. Each time you do, repeat:

This is best begun on the night of the New Moon:
Use an astral candle for yourself - your color
A brown candle for the job itself
A green candle for prosperity
Burn a prosperity incense
Anoint the candles with a prosperity oil. Anoint from wick to end. These candles should be in a safe place, they have to burn out entirely.
Place the brown candle in the center, the green on the right, and the astral on the left.
Light the astral and say : I ask for change, that is my right, open the way, clear my sight.
Light the green and say : Good luck is mine and prosperity, help me Great Ones, come to me.

EYE COLOR SPELL
Sit comfortably where you won't be distracted.
Clear your mind and start by thinking about what color you want your eyes to be.
I get an idea of what color I want and I think of my face like a mask I am holding up about 5 inches
from my eyes so I can see behind it. Then I think of a light (like a flashlight) shining through the
eyeholes of the mask. It starts dim but it gets really bright and he light is the color I want my
eyes to look I try to hold that idea for as long as I can I see the eyes of the mask fill up with
that color and then I visualize putting the mask on and absorb it under my skin so my eyes
become that color. I don't chant or anything since I find it to take most of my concentration
to visualize it and make it stick. I do burn a little incense sometimes but it doesn't really matter
what I burn it's just to relax my mind.
Mine last about an hour and a half for most of them.
Which for the most part I'm only doing them for special occasions (like parties) so I don't
need them for much longer if I do I can do a touch up in the bathroom (same Idea as
makeup touch up just visualize a quick zap)
SPELL TO CHANGE EYE COLOR
Make sure it is night when you do this spell. Also, light one orange and one pink candle.
Close your eyes. (You must have complete focus and be concentrating on the spell only.)
Fill your mind with the color your eyes are. Picture that for about five minutes.
Then picture the color you want. Chant:

Repeat this whole process two times and you will see changes through the day.

You must be relatively advanced as a witch to use the magical method, but once you

Then do a dance upon the shore, to Hathor-Aphrodite, or sing to the stars,

SPELL TO BE SEEN MORE ATTRACTIVELY
Fill your bathtub with water and scatter some fresh rose petals in it.
Light some vanilla candles and/or incense.
As you lie in the water, meditate on the image you would like to project and say these words:
Earth, Air, Fire, Sea Let the Goddess' beauty Shine through me
ETERNAL BEAUTY SPELL
1 wine glass of water 1 pinch of salt 1 red candle 1 light blue candle
1 red rose (no scars or imperfections for best results) 1 round hand-held mirror
Drop the pinch of salt into the glass of water saying
Beauty be within me. Beauty now set me free.
Carve the symbol of sex into the red candle. Carve a mirror symbol into the light blue one.
Light the two candles, first the light blue one and then the red.
Lay the mirror between the two candles and scry into your reflection.
Drop the rose petals, one by one onto the mirror. After this is done, drink the water and say,
Beauty, beauty come to me. Beauty, beauty set me free.
Let the candles burn down all the way.
SPELL FOR BEAUTY
Mix a tea of roses, Damiana, Ginger, Dong quai, Coriander, & Primrose flowers.
Place the dry herbs in a green glass jar and place on your altar.
On a night of Venus (Friday), take a bath in Lovage roots and Rose petals, dry yourself and
rub Musk oil into your skin. Go to your altar nude and light a pink candle anointed with
Venus Oil and burn some Aura of Enchantment Incense. Place a small mirror on the altar,
gaze into it deeply and say,
"Soft, my skin as Diana's Smoldering eyes as Aradia, Sensuous as a Goddess.
Figures of fire that shift and change, Change me, now, To a creature of beauty,
Blessed be the Goddess of Love.
Repeat each night for 7 nights, leaving the tea on the altar until the spell is finished,
then drink a cup daily and wash your face with rose water upon waking.
VENUS APHRODITE'S MAGIC MIRROR BATH
To be done on Friday (Venus' day) at 7:00. Best done on a Waxing moon, or when
the sun or moon is in Libra or Taurus. Draw a romantic bath for one.
Decorate your bathroom with pale green candles and a single red rose.
Run the bath as hot as you can comfortably stand it.
Add to the bath water a mixture of myrtle, and clover oil to honor Venus.
Add one cup of sugar for sweetness, one cup of pink wine for heady intoxication,
and a dash of sandalwood perfume. Enjoy your bath with a special facial and relax.
After you have bathed and washed off the facial, dry your hair, and give the old hundred
strokes hair-brushing routine a magical twist. Let your hair hang down before you.
Sweep a natural boar-bristle brush from your scalp to the ends of your hair.
Have your hand follow the brush as it works its way through.
Focus your attention on your hand, and imagine that you are impregnating your hair with power.
Think, feel, and exude magnetic attraction to your hair with every stroke.
Now, make yourself comfortable and take several deep, relaxing breaths.
Surround yourself with vibrant green light and picture yourself beautiful.
Really get into the image. This is who you are-your magical self-and if you can visualize it,
you can become it. Note what you might do to make the astral you a reality and affirm to do it.
Finally get dressed up in your best clothes, wear emerald, turquoise jewelry (Venus stones) for
extra luck in love. Then hit the town!

I Want To Be In A Coven. How Do I find One?Many newcomers to the Craft begin to learn about Witchcraft/Wicca by reading a few books. It doesn’t take them very long to discover that each author has a different slant on the subject. Information, even about the most basic elements such as history, circle casting or spellwork, can sometimes be not only different, but often conflicting. At this point, the newcomer may throw up their hands in despair and decide to find a real live person to help straighten all this out. And who can blame them?
When newcomers ask the question, “Where can I find a coven?”, they are quite often taken aback by the response-or rather non-response- that they may receive to the inquiry. They are told to read more books, check out various websites and practice working on their own. This can seem like a ‘brush off” to the seekers-sometimes it is!-and they may go away more frustrated than before. So how CAN the new seeker find some help- and perhaps eventually meet other Pagans?
STARTING OUT…
So You Wanna Be a Witch?There are some real issues that should be discussed right at the beginning of this section. The first thing that the seeker should know is that much of the “knowledge” that we possess today about Witchcraft and its origins is a combination of archeological data, the myths and legends that have been passed down and some historical documents that have been translated. The rest is conjecture and the “best guesses” of scholars who are working on “bringing it all together.” In other words, no one can say for certain what the Ancestors really did or why.
That does not mean that we have NO knowledge-we certainly DO!- just that we do not have THE historical knowledge of the origins of the Modern Craft. Different interpretations will continue to abound both in written materials and in any teachings that you may encounter. There will never be only one Way of practicing Witchcraft. Get used to it. No one has the “one true answer”…and any teacher worth his or her salt will tell you this up front.
The above is your first introduction to what is involved in following the path of Witchcraft. You are expected to do a LOT of research on your own. This is actually a very healthy way to approach the beginning study of any Path you are considering. Read many, many books on the subject-both scholarly and those that some would consider in the “fluff’ category. Why? Because this is your first foray into unknown waters. You should approach it with an open mind-ready to question and probe and ponder. I cannot overestimate how useful this first step will be. It can help you to formulate your own ideas about what this Path may mean to you.
Do not try to incorporate all that you read into one cohesive whole at the beginning. Look at whatever material that you are reading as a “theory” or “hypothesis” of Witchcraft. Some things will appeal to you right away. Others will seem “off the wall” or too fantastic to be of use. Accept or reject nothing at this stage; just keep on gathering information. You are doing “research”. The more you read, the more a “coming together” of certain aspects will begin to form within yourself. Then you will have a foundation from which you can take the next step.
Part One-The INTEREST PHASE:You saw a movie (which shall remain nameless!), you read a few books, you stumbled onto a website, you talked to someone who said that he/she was a Witch-and now you want to know more! You have an “interest” in the Craft.
Many seekers at this point rush into the nearest message board area and cry out, “Teach me everything you know!” The reaction of others to this plea may range from the semi-helpful, “Do more research” to the out and out rude, “Those Wannbees!”
Either one of these responses will probably will leave you feeling unsatisfied (If not hurt!) and discouraged. Why can’t you get the help that you are asking for? Well, perhaps you did not phrase your request in a way that would elicit the sort of assistance that you were really looking for.
Witchcraft is a Path with depth. It can not be summed up in “25 words or less”. You need to learn how to ask SPECIFIC questions. This is where your previous research comes in. An intelligent and thoughtful question about a specific topic will generate an intelligent and thoughtful answer or opinion in return. Cite your sources. “This author writes that this is the way to cast a circle, yet this other author states it this way. Can anyone give me their opinion or experience on this? Does it matter?”
Interest Phase Do’s and Don’ts…DO… Read as many books on the subject as you can-on History, Myths, Poetry, Psychology and Science as well as books on Witchcraft or Magick.
DO… Make yourself a research library. Take notes or highlight passages that particularly interest you. If you have a question on what is written, place a question mark next to that passage. You should enjoy what you read at this stage-the enjoyment will actually help you to retain what you read better than struggling through dusty tomes on alchemy (unless you happen to love alchemy, that is!).
DO… start a journal. You can even call it a “Book of Shadows” if you want to. (It can just be a loose leaf notebook, These are handy for creating different sections.) Write down both the things that you have found to be of interest and the things that you would like to know more about.
DO… Look at Nature. Witchcraft and most other Pagan paths are called “earth or nature based” religions. What is Nature saying to you? Bring home rocks, sticks, leaves or other things you find that attract your attention. Now ask yourself-WHY did you bring that home? Write it down.
DO… get organized. Concentration is an important skill in Magic. Disciplining yourself to make regular entries into a journal and writing things down will help you to develop concentration.
DO… learn to ask SPECIFIC questions of other Witches or Pagans when you need help. And ask yourself some questions, too. “What do I think Witchcraft is? What do I find here that has meaning for me?”
DO… tell the truth. Can seasoned Witches tell if someone is “full of it”? Yes, they can and rather quickly, too! Be honest about what you know and what you don’t.
DO… spend time alone to think carefully about how you feel and what you want for yourself. Some people think at the onset that Witchcraft will allow them to change other people or circumstances. But YOU will be the one who changes as you explore this Path. Do you really WANT to change?
DON’T… take it too fast. You have not made any commitments yet. You are doing research into a subject that interests you on a personal level. Jumping into a group situation at this point may hinder your development more than help it. You need to find out where YOU are going before you hit the trail with someone else.
DON’T… get discouraged. Sometimes it is very difficult to “go it alone.” But the Craft is made up of individuals who bring something of value to the Path-as well as receive benefits from it. Many “old timers” have the “Grampa attitude”. You know, the “When I was your age, I had to walk three miles to school every day…in the snow…with no boots…carrying my little sister…and a load of firewood…” Well, in a way that is true. It WAS much harder to be a Witch only a few decades ago. So be forgiving if they are not ready to hand you all their hand gathered “firewood” on a silver platter….you may have to walk a mile or two by yourself….in the snow…with no boots…..
DON’T… ask about joining a terraspace coven just yet. A coven is a close knit group working together. It is a difficult process to create an effective magickal unit. Most covens are not actively looking for new members, as each time a new person is added to the group, it takes time for the unit to re-adjust. There are some cyberspace “covens” that readily accept new members. If you look on it as a “training exercise”, you could learn a few things. Ask around the Internet.
DON’T… be afraid because you are not part of a group. Many, many Witches find out after much trial and error that they actually PREFER to work alone. Traditionally the Witch WAS a loner…and many still are by choice. Often solitary Witches get together to talk and exchange information and then happily go back to their solitary practice. You CAN do a little bit of both.
Still “Interested”? Then you will probably want to go further into…
Part Two-The “EXPLORATORY PHASE”:You have read quite a few books, taken tons of notes and written faithfully in your Book of Shadows or journal. You have found some resources on the Internet and may have even asked a Pagan a few of those pesky questions that have been bothering you lately. Now what?
This is where you begin to exercise your discretion a bit. As you start weeding out the things that you have decided are not for you and embracing what DOES feel right, you are also making decisions about what sort of group you may eventually be comfortable with. (And many seekers still feel at this point that they DO want to find a group.)
Does the whole circle casting with sword, smoking incense and flickering candles appeal to you? Or would you rather simply sit quietly and let your heart speak?
Are you more introverted than extroverted? All grand dreams of leading a large public ritual aside, do you feel comfortable right NOW speaking to large groups of people? Or do you prefer the company of a few close and intimate friends?
Do you like to mull things over before making a decision? Or are you spontaneous and always dashing off to go rock climbing or roller blading?
Asking yourself these and similar questions will help you to make decisions. What are the reasons that you would want to be part of a coven or group-and what sort of group may that be?
You may also begin visualization techniques at this time. You begin to see yourself in the tales of mythic heroes and heroines. You may visualize actually doing the rituals and circles that you have read about. You imagine what it may be like to be a member of a coven-laughing as you all run through the woods on your way to the bonfire. How do these images and scenarios make you feel? Be honest. No one is looking over your shoulder at this point.
Most importantly, how comfortable are YOU with this Path that you are researching? Does it fit who you are? Not who you would like to be…not who you would like others to think that you are…but you as you are right now. Think about this a lot. It will save you much disillusionment in the future.
You may begin to collect a tool or two or think about setting up an altar area. You start buying lots and lots of candles and incense. You browse the herb shops and look through catalogs for magickal items. You may even buy some things. You are beginning to actually make some outward decisions about what you feel inside. You are “exploring” new possibilities.
Explorer Phase Do’s and Don’ts…DO… Continue to read, study and record notes in your journal or Book. Why did you choose this athame over that wand? Why do you prefer sandalwood to jasmine? Should you hide your altar when Granny comes to visit?
DO… Begin to think about which Way appeals to you…Celtic? Egyptian? Druid? Can’t decide? Maybe you are the Eclectic type?
DO… Understand that you will be challenged as you begin to speak and interact with other Pagans. It’s our hobby. And it makes you think about what you say you believe in. It will tell you a lot about your commitment to the Path that you have chosen for yourself.
DO… Keep a sense of humor. It puts things into perspective. You will be laughing at yourself for a lifetime as you look back on your early days. We all do. We were just learning when we began and we weren’t always very good in our first attempts. (I’m laughing right now just thinking about the first time I cast a circle by myself!) But we did learn and you will, too. And since we all are continuing to learn each day, you will never run out of things to laugh about!
DO… “Talk little and listen much”. Lurk around the chat rooms. Peek in on a cybercircle. Check out your local area for open circles or workshops. Keep your eyes and ears open…opportunities for learning are everywhere.
DO… Continue to ask SPECIFIC questions. It is easier now that you have some real information under your belt, isn’t it? Instead of a broad-based “I dunno anything about this!”, you can ask “Well, what about THIS?” At last those answers are beginning to make some sense!
DO… begin thinking about Deities and ritual structure. Who of the Old Ones speaks to you? What sort of relationship would you have with the Deity of your choice-or the One who has chosen YOU?! What are the symbols associated with these Deities? Learn Their stories.
DON’T… Get ahead of yourself. All worthwhile lessons take time to become integrated into your spirit. The mind is usually the last to know! That is because your subconscious is learning through dreams and visions and symbols while your conscious mind is still struggling with the words. Continue to spend time alone to allow all your new feelings and thoughts to become clear. Take a walk and enjoy your life!
DON’T… Put all your spiritual eggs into one basket. Even though you may have a favorite author, continue to read other viewpoints. Even though you may respect a Witch or Pagan, continue to listen to other voices. Read about the latest “conspiracy theory”. It may be ridiculous, but it does train the mind to be on the look out for alternatives. (However do know that if you are abducted by aliens, they didn’t hear about you from us!)
DON’T… Tell all that you know and don’t pretend to know about something that you don’t. Complete honesty may be difficult with other people, but it is essential to be honest with yourself. Lies waste energy.
DON’T… get frustrated because you STILL haven’t found out how to contact a coven. That will come later…if it is still what you want to do.

Anoint the body prior to Esbats to attune with Lunar energies.
Controlling
Based on a recipe for burning on charcoal. Particularly useful with love rituals; use with red male figure candle.
What you need:
1 dram (5mL) clean amber or cobalt vial
10 drops benzoin e.o.
10 drops clove e.o.
10 drops vetiver e.o.
10 drops bay e.o.
Add the essential oils to the bottle and swirl them gently in order to get them blended. Add any crystals (make sure they are clean too) and then add your base oil to top the bottle off. I don't use crystals in all my blends but some people add crystals to their magical blends to keep them charged with a specific intention. Make sure to keep the oils stored away from light and write on a sticker or piece of paper to be taped on the name of the blend, time, date, moon phase, planetary hour and any other info you wish so that you know what you made and when for use later. As well, be careful as these blends will eventually go off so use your sniffer and be aware of what the blend should smell like. Once it seems off, you can discard it, clean the bottle and start a fresh! Make sure it is completely clean and if it cannot be completely cleaned, discard and use a fresh one.
BATH SALT
2 cups Epsom Salt or Dead Sea Salt or 1 cup of each (Do not use table salt they will dry out skin)
1-2 teaspoons of baking soda
8-12 drops of essential oil (depending on preference and skin type)
Mix and stir for two mins to really coat all the salts
