Shadowx is right to continuously point out to new people in this work that there are some very manipulative scam artists masquerading as priestesses, psychics, witches and the like. Some of them may actually be what they claim to be, but what distinguishes them from the type of help honest people are looking for is their motive. If they know you are ignorant, desperate, and may not have much money they can do alot more harm than good. This is more of a public service announcement than to anyone is particular.
If you were to go to someone who really knows what they are doing they would approach the situation with a proven methodology. There are procedures for determining if some is cursed or not and whether it is appropriate for the healer to intervene. In other words, there needs to be a proper diagnosis just as anyone would do in any type of authentic medical practice. IF the healer is given permission to intervene, prescriptive ritual, spellwork, and prayers are crafted for the client or work is done on the clients behalf. Regardless of tradition, this is the general structure that determines the legitimacy, authenticity, and effectiveness of the Medicine or what is profanely referred to as magic.
What I would recommend for anyone in the situation described above is to get purple and white candles and through the power of one's own creativity and authentic emotional expression, connect with the Divine. The purpose and intent is to build oneself to be as spiritually strong as possible. One could have a white votive candle(they sell them at the dollar tree now if you are in the states)burning at all times to affirm a strong connection to the Divine. It is only through the power of developing spiritual strength, which includes the power of discernment and the power to know when to let go and walk away, that the ability to handle those that spew negative energies or as we call them here "haters" arises.
You are either for Life or against It. There is no in between.
I used to believe in god above. Now I'm filled with so much love.-Erykah Badu after the invocation of the Goddess
May the love that holds eternity at its fingertips kiss each and everyone one you on the lips. May your words bring worlds that bring hope to a world dying to be reborn.
