Empathy question

Postby Newbiewitch94 » Mon Dec 11, 2017 8:34 am

Having recently developed this ability in the past few months its got me wondering is there a limit to how far away a empath can sense someone's emotions.

The Buddha's presence could be felt 10km away.
The crucifiction of Christ could be felt all throughout history... it is actually the only thing we remember him by.

I suppose it depends on how much you respect decency in others... from my own experience.

Train your senses well enough and you’ll be able to sense the emotion, see it’s color, and possibly even live through their experience. By doing so, you can establish a sort of emotional-based telepathic link to them

In some ways it may depend on how closely bound to another person you are. Like it has been said twins can tell when the other is going through some ordeal. They may be hundreds of miles apart. Good friends and parent/ child relationships also have been known to "feel" the joy or more likely sorrow. For some reason the others distress is easier to pick up on. Does anyone know why that is? I was wondering if it had to do with the fact that our brains ard hard wired to sense danger.

I had,an instance of sensing something from about 600 miles away. That doesn't usually happen. It was interesting.

Yes I think so, FBF. I was 300 miles across state at a summer job and knew mom had been hurt...but not what. She fell off a horse & broke her arm. I was away at college when dad broke his leg when the same horse fell on ice on top of him. They didn't shoot dad. In both cases the horse was fine. It about drove me wild until I could get thru by phone and hear their voice.

The feeling was of knowing their distress or anxiety. Back then, I didn't know empathy was a thing.

There's also a kind of group emotional flux when some riveting event occurs. I was in high school when Apollo 13 had it's in flight explosion. The splash down relief & whoop of cheer was intense.

IMO-Channeling isn't the same thing as empathy. If you suddenly contemplate self immolation, that's channeling. Depression, a sensing of unnamed despair, these are more empathicly picking up on the wave length or frequency.

I think we use telepathy more than we are even aware. Distance isn't an issue with the extra senses. Astronauts have done telepathy from space to earth and back and forth for studies. Of course, we haven't been further away than the moon (or maybe Mars) which is right in the neighborhood. Remote viewers like Ingo Swann have had a lookie loo further away & been confirmed years later.

Thanks
So maybe i have some kind of telepathic connection to him then. Hmm now this has me wondering about my freakout episode last Saturday. Thanks anyway. He does know im a witch and a empath so maybe il have to tell him to watch his emotions when speaking to me. Either that or il have to look into some kind of spell or ritual to break the telepathic connection if that is what it is.

You've already established a sympathetic ear so he possibly isn't even aware of a long reach. A lot of empathic people pick up shielding skills almost automatically.

distress and anxiety... the death of christ again. buddha knew it well. on the flipside, peace, hope and JOY (is our natural state). if you build it, they will come.

In "tapping a connection" you become the sender rather than the receiver. Telepathy can flow either way. If the receiver is sensitive they would probably notice a presence. An emotional link is easiest to follow.

The best secret is that you are beautiful. If that be the secret , accept everything, it's a loving thing to do !
