Cricket spell or nasty prank???

Postby Colour_of_life » Sat Feb 18, 2012 6:30 am

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any spells involving putting a cricket in someones drink.

The reason I ask is because I think someone may have tried something on me and she Is a person known to cast spells on people that are harmful as she has gloated about putting a spell on one of her own family members. She is an old witch and is not fond of me at all.

The transferance of a physical object by none physical means, especially a living one, is not something I have seen or heard of outside of scientific theory. Others may have more knowledge on this than I, but I would say that it may just be a prank. I'll take a look at my books when I get home. If you could provide more detail, such as when and where, perhaps I could draw a better picture of the events and say with more certainty what occured.
Do not attempt, Achieve
Do not hear, Listen
Do not go blindly forward, See
Do not judge, Understand
Do not forget, for in this you shall learn nothing

Did you drink the drink after the cricket was put in?

If not, even if it was a spell you won't have anything to worry about :)

If so, then remember that most of any curse's power comes from the cursed person believing in it! If it makes you feel better, then do a protection/purification spell and keep your shields up for a little while until you think it's over.

It was in her house when I met her. She went to the room and then the kitchen, was unusually nice and poured me a drink of pepsi so if there was anything else in it I didnt see. I did drink from the cup, but didnt drink the cricket, when I saw it i tipped it out. The cricket was alive and moving. It happened a couple of years ago but after this I have experienced sleep paralysis and I have seen her in my dreams. She is not in my life anymore and lives somewhere else but I have spotted her close to my house and my brothers house a few times recently. This is strange because when i lived with her she hardly went out anywhere far because both her legs are permanently injured. Thanks for thew replies though guys, I appreciate it as I am inexperienced and still in the studying phases of my spiritual path.

I think magic is mostly psychological, in the way she had a cricket in your drink, it probably affected the part of the psychology that showed that someone giving you a drink (usually food sources are trustworthy dependable etc) and it had a cricket in it, showing something opposite of trustworthyness, so the contradictoryness is supposed to confuse or add fear perhaps, plus its odd and out of place for a cricket to be in a drink, so it stands out to the psych really, which could explain why you saw her in your dreams, since a cricket in a drink seems random enough for it to occur in a dream anyways.

And if magic and such does work, it being highly related to the mind, should mean that bad luck spells and such exist as sort of causing peoples natural magic to work in a more negative fashion, like if magic is naturally slightly used by our subconcious minds to help find oppurtunities, then it could have been used in the past to have us miss good oppurtunities, or seek out bad oppurtunities instead.

So, magic really heavily depends on the psychology, since people need to enter trances, do rituals (which have strong symbolism usually and can bring out emotions/feelings easier) and etc, so perhaps magical attraction works through the psychology, which is why depressed people seem to be more unlucky, though its argueable that their perception is to see things in an unlucky perspective, but then itd mean our subtle behaviors do provide consequence, perhaps attracting even a few random events from our subtle behaviors. Idk, it could have more to it than that.

You know what? I think you may be right. She was trying to intimidate me because she was obviously not in a state to intimidate me physically. She probably stayed in my sub-concious world because I allowed it, because I was bothered by it. But if this theory is correct, would this mean that the person who you put a spell on would have to know about it for it to affect them? If so then this would mean that spells are phycological tricks on yourself or others? Either way thank you all for your replies you have answered more for me than you know.

Well not necesarily, I suppose if something very odd or creepy happened that someone did then it could have an affect. Something that'd be harder to forget than a normal out of place event perhaps.

This lady craves for power and has her childeren living with her one is 28 the other over 30, so I think your answer fits the type of person who would try to confuse or put fear into me, as she often said that she didnt like that I walked tall??? The only thing that doesnt fit is the sleep paralysis beginning at this time. do you think sleep paralysis is something you are born with? or something that can be obtained somehow?

Sleep problems could cause it I think. Stress can also ruin quality of sleep, preventing reaching a certain deepness and that could also cause it.

She did it intentionally, fi she mentions how she does spells on her family. And how would a cricket jump into a cup unless it was on the ground and near the cricket anyways?
