Can crystals cause insomnia?

Postby thewanderer21 » Wed Mar 08, 2017 6:39 pm

I've meditated with an amethyst, herkimer and clear quartz before bed.

Also i've worn the amethyst and herkimer as a pendand throughout the night and had my clear quartz sit beside my bed pointing it towards me.

I've never had such a bad insomnia before. I literally didn't really sleep at all. Went to bed at 1:30 A.M after I finished meditating. Woke up a bunch of times and couldn't even dream which I usually do...everyday night I've got long dreams.

I gave up on sleeping at around 5.am and still don't feel that tired even though its 18:38 today and had a long day at work (hard labour) lol.

So I am guessing the insomnia was from the crystals but which one I wonder...It was the first time combining a clear quartz with a herkimer they are pretty much the same thing except herkimer is a lot powerful.

Absolutely, in fact I'll handle them when I've been feeling fatigued.
Perhaps a good grounding before bed and no sleeping with the quartz?
Also, just curious, did you clean the stones prior to using them?

I cleanse them a couple times a week with sage. What do you mean a good grounding?

Sometime eating something helps, bread or especially root vegies, like potatoes. Also be real conscious of the grounding technique be barefoot if you can, but at least place your hands on the ground for an extended period of time. If you can sit on the grass or the ground with your hands upon the ground that's good too, then visualize the energy is flowing from your hands into the Earth.

Not sure if you are still having problems with but I thought I would mention that your clear quartz will likely be amplifying the other two crystals. Combine that amplification ability with an already very powerful high energy herkimer and it's no wonder you couldn't sleep!

I hope you have been able to make your way to the land of nod successfully!

:fairy: hey hey! I personally love Moonstone, but will not have it on or around me when I'm trying to sleep unless I'm doing dreamwork.

:flyingwitch: I also tried Herkimer Diamond under my pillow a few times but its too high vibrations for me...

And I like my high vibrations loveface smiley_dance

Does anyone know where I can score some chronic mugwort?
