Blessings for my cat

Postby sheelanagig » Wed Sep 02, 2009 7:08 am

Please may I ask for blessings for my cat Horace (Who is a Girl) who passed over this moring approx 10:00am GMT
She was my lovely little companion and shadow, and I am going to miss her bodily presence so much. She was 13 and leaves behind her litter sister Flea.
Help her to soar, and be free in spirit and regain her strength to play and hunt in the spirit world.

Thank you

Thank you all for your blessings for my little Horace.
I am hoping that she will join my boys (dogs) who have passed over, they visit me quite often, and I hope Horace will do so too. :)

sheelanagig, I can feel your love for your animals. It is my belief Horace's spirit was returned to its strength and vitality immediately upon passing to the Other Side. I'm sure she will indeed join the boys with visiting you, and with your beautiful sensitivity you will feel her presence too.

Sheelanagig, I am so sorry for your loss.

I've sent my energy your way too, to aid Horace on her peaceful journey onward.

Bright Blessings to you,

Horace has been cremated,

But thank you for your kind thoughts.

I have now seen her around the house, and I am sure her sister has too.
I have found Flea purring loudly on a couple of occassions, although Flea is still a little clingly on the loss of her sister.

Is Flea alone in the living world now? The reason I ask is because sadly, she may closely follow her sister. In my experience, the loss of a fellow sibling brings great lament to the remaining animal- she knows Horace is gone, I'm sure, and is already expressing her grief.

Try to make her as much a part of your daily coming and goings as is possible. She is truly grieving too, and she may need your comfort now even more than you need hers. Often times animals will sense the spirit of their friends/siblings as well, so I'd watch her activity for that as well. (Though you did say you've seen Horace's spirit around the house, so I'm fairly sure she's still there.) That can be really hard on the remaining animals, for some reason. When one of my childhood dogs passed away, her 'sister' still saw her at home and was tremendously depressed. She passed shortly thereafter as well- for no apparent reason. I'm not sure exactly what can help Flea recover from her sorrow in this case, but perhaps if we humans are there for our pets like they are there for us when we feel upset, it may help.

I wish you and Flea (and Horace) all the best.

~Bright Blessings~

Thank you MoonStone for your advice.

Yes Flea is greiving, and I am making sure she has lots of love and cuddles too. I am constantly talking to her
She is far more vocal than she was before the loss of Horace.
Her appitite is still good, and she has taken on a couple of traits that her sister used to have.

Rest assured she will be given lots of attention to try to help her in the coming months and years (hopefully)
